I was surprised to see so much hidden rust as the car looked pretty solid to begin with!
This is what a limitless budget restoration looks like...
what sort of budget would i be looking at for something like this?
Same question.
Great work as usual so what is the final cost and what is the real value to sell .Cheers from Aussie
O Brasil é péssimo negócio pará investir em mão de obra trabalho e mercado de trabalho e difícil não oferece garantia ao trabalhador autonomia. 😂😂❤❤ .
"Polskie Porsche" this is restoration!! :)
Picture material of opened door sills is rarely found anywhere on the web, a special thanks for that!
I keep forgetting that an '85 is now 35 years old, and I get aghast at the rust for a second. (Forgive me, I'm old.)
Well done. A new life to this pretty little lady. A lucky French owner.
Glad there was. No commentary, so I could mute the SHITTY. background noise !!
the welds look like crap and the bolts and related hardware is painted vomit yellow instead of Zinc dichromate. I dont call that proper restoration.
Cost please and congratulations on a fine masterpiece. Thanks for keeping a classic alive.👏👏👏🥂
Can you please inform me what the material that you used for the texture on the tank? And what sort of gun was used to apply? Thanks - have a nice day all. CHEERS from AUSTRALIA.
Definitely not an 85 car….
I thought my VW was a project, but, i think you got me beat. Looks like your going to have a real jewel when your done. best wishes can't wait to see the finalproduct rolling down the road!!
On the outside it didn’t look too bad,but wow,it was Swiss Cheese on the inside!🙀🙀🙀
This looks to be a 1987-1989 Carrera 3.2 as ist already has the G50 gearbox and the lift points. Can someone confirm?
That's a classic antique car
Great video, went through a similar rebuild on my 89 3.2 although wasn't in quite so bad shape as this one. One thing I did notice is that the shell appears to be a later type with the jacking points and 964 type kidney bowls? Thanks for sharing!
It is because that is not an 85 car but later. It has already many details from the g50 model…
…. Rear reflector latter type, hydraulic clutch …
Belleza.
i would like to see how its drive and the driver feeling...
Would you happen to know where I can get the correct welting for my 1985 911. I am missing welting, I’ll try to describe where it’s located:
driver side, the square-ish “cover” that sits against the bellow , between the bellow and the wheel well above the valance, the bellow actually tucks under this “cover”. This cover should have welting on the top and bottom. I’m missing the lower welting. I don’t know where to find a small piece to purchase.. and the correct one. Any ideas? Thanks so much
So much rust! Looks better than new now and with modern techniques and paint, should last much longer. Nice.
Will there be a risk of rust in the future?
Terry Caudill Metal will always rust if exposed to the air. As long as it’s sealed, will be protected.
@@terrycaudill4171 depends, how close to the ocean he lives , if he lives in- land .. I can assure you , this car will be in this condition for a very long time to come .
I personally think, this car will be garaged most it's life , and only driven on occasions?!
du beau travail made in france
Porsche started to galvanize the body parts '76-'77, The problems show up at all these joints. They were welded at a higher temperature and the galvanize evaporates.
Buen trabajo amigos god job 👍👍👍👍👍
This is a beautiful transformation in details ( crystals touched up) never see before such wonderful vedio so original works being done so perfect and all the best endeavors.
MAN !!!! Our. 3.2 is in great shape compared to this car. !!😄😄😄😎😎😎🍺
Please edit it into a video, not a picture
Wunderbare Arbeit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very interesting and quality work, but I am wondering if it makes sense economically to make the investment. It would help me to understand if I knew what the restoration cost?
Not everything has to make economic sense
Photos are good but how about showing us how it's done...
Would love to know, how long and how much this cost.
Bonjour, quel est le prix d'une telle restauration ?

Great restoration! Was the rust cleared in the rear seat floor pans? Might have missed this?
Is it that hard to take a picture without shaking the camera?
no video, only foto 👎
