When I had an ectopic pregnancy an abortion saved my life. A ectopic pregnancy is not viable and some women are having difficulty getting access to this because of these laws.

Emergency medical intervention for an ectopic pregnancy is not the same as an abortion for a viable, normal pregnancy.

This is a really horrible message to be sending. We are not forced to donate blood or organs to those who will die without them, so why are women being forced to donate their bodies to house a pregnancy? I respect your right to your religious beliefs, it doesn’t seem like you are giving other people the same courtesy.

@@elliesilva1907 did you actually read what I said or just skim over, see I don’t agree and try to pull out the same argument every other pro-birth person uses? The point is, it is a human right, just like food, water, shelter, and freedom of speech to have say over our own medical decisions, whether or not the consequence of that ends up ending another human life. It is not murder for someone to back out of kidney donation at the last minute, even if the other person will die the next day, so how is pregnancy any different?

@@ash_masons An abortion shouldn't be an option if a woman has consensual sex without protection knowing she has a high probability of becoming pregnant, becomes pregnant, and has a healthy fetus that isn't endangering her health. It's so bizarre that what you took from Janette's book was the industry rejection and not the abuse her mom put her through...like the reason the title was as it was was because her mom abused her emotionally, physically...and she was a Mormon a very devout Mormon which they mentioned in the book and a relationship with God was there so that moment of this interview is just odd. Like we clearly took very different opinions away from that book.

YOu have. Not that opinion but being so rash and@@NikkiPhillippiI don't want abortions to exist-but they do and they serve a health care option.. It isn't my place to dictate what choices women make. I don't believe anyone should have to carry a baby they aren't prepared for or a baby conceived through rape or assault. There are many reasons why.
      2. What about the baby and family post-birth? There is so much debate about pregnancy and little support for after birth. If you are passionate about being pro-life then you need to be supporting legislator that supports that. like food stamps and childcare. I'd love to see what you are doing to bring change. I am involved in several organizations that support families after the baby is born. I find most don't do anything/care about the baby after it's born. Or about foster care. or about mental health. or unhoused people. I am pro-human. I want women to have a choice. i want it to be safe.
The point is, you can not have an abortion while not limiting someone else choice. You can advocate without initiating trauma.
Obviously, you don't value a baby after its born.
