- Chase the Devil by Max Romeo is a reggae classic. Produced by Lee "Scratch" Perry at The Black Ark studio.
Maybe you've heard the Prodigy song that sampled it? Perhaps you know the Kanye West produced Jay-Z song that sampled it? Or maybe you know the original reggae classic?
One way or another you've probably heard some part of the Max Romeo song "Chase the Devil" this is the story of that song and the cheeky hit single that first brought the young reggae singer to the attention of the UK audience...and the BBC censors. - Розваги

Great informative video.
this is great, should have much more views
Well it has 1 more view today, thanks to you! 😊
Wet Dream is one of my favourites, impossible not to smile both in a cheeky way and with pure joy
Max Romeo surely likes the song now, but when they recorded the album he didnt like the song at all 🙂I think its one of the greatest reggae songs of alltime.
Instantantly subscribed, fantastic, greetings from New South Wales 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘

These videos are absolutely Class both the photos and the information respect
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching!
I got so gassed when he thanked Prodigy & Jay Z!! These videos are fiiiiire!!
Yeah that's one of my favourite bits. Shame that he didnt get royalties from the original. Apparently there was a big court case a few years back when a French lawyer took on his case and got him some long over due payments.

Who is the devil,?
"The negative thoughts in your mind" it's in the video, Max Romeo explains it in his own words.
