@@Ibelieveinfreedom Absolutely! I use 3 30 inch Hawk Helium sticks and it gets me around 18 feet high. I'm 6'2, 220 lbs. and it is the absolute most comfortable stand I've sat in. I've hunted out of it over a dozen times this season, killed deer and snooze if I have to (I have the headrest option) and can sit all day without hurting the next day. I wish I had one of these years ago! The newer models are better with metal buckles, etc. The only mods I did was change the prussic knot on the lineman's belt to a Ropeman 1. I have 2 dump pouches on the side and a very small backpack for everything I need...You will be very surprised at the versatility of this stand. I’m torn between two saddles and was hoping you could give me some advice since you’ve had your hands on both.
The two saddles I’m referring to are the dryad drey and jx3 hybrid. They both appear as though I could sit in them all day in comfort.
One little disclaimer is that I will be hunting with a long bow. From watching your reviews on them, I feel as though I’d be able to shoot much easier from the drey. I also tree stand hunt some from a lock-on and climber. I felt as though the inner belt of the drey could serve as my harness then as well.
I am also very intrigued by the fact that the jx3 serves as a frame pack. Any info to push me one way or another would be great!

Can you demo one sticking with the JX3?
The two plastic clips on the side of the bridge straps are actually a bow holder. You hang the bow string on these.

How do you clean the JX3? I used mine for four days last week hunting and it stinks! I noticed the black screw heads are rusting just from dew and moisture in the air. No scent spray didn't help...
I finally wrote JX3 and they said use no scent soap and a light spray and cloth or sponge to clean it. I stuck mine in a plastic garbage bag with an ozone generator and it took care of the smell...
If it has plastic belt and leg clips what hold you while climbing with linemans rope?
They have since switched to load bearing buckles.

Isn't it easier to set your stick while in a standing position so attach an aider to that rope that's going around the tree. Also why do you have to reach down so far to grab that stick just put some sort of lightweight extension on it or something otherwise good vid

It honestly doesn't look like this would allow you to shoot a trad bow. Have you shot trad from it yet???
Looks like a frame for a army ruck sack. I'll bet my paycheck that's what it is.
your ready to take a shot and your foot slips your slamming in the tree and you will miss your shot and you move you have to hold yourself away from the tree. Give me a climber or hang on tree stand.
It has a "fork" in between your legs that you can adjust in and out a few inches to maintain distance between you and the tree.
