    I shot a ton of video for the very first banjo meltdown for the State of Tennessee, the tapes belonged to the state, but I was wondering if you have access to them?

    I don't think he's even playing that bango listen to the background music his fingers aren't on the strings most of the time

      He is hes just playing clawhammer where the tune hangs a while not to mention he plays with his left hand (on the neck).

      @@CliftonHicksbanjo He was inspired by Uncle Dave Macon of Tennessee (1870-1952) one of the first major stars of the Gran Ol' Opry. Troy follows the old style clawhammer technique used by Macon, whereas most of today's players tend to follow Earl Scruggs's style.
