If your tank and valve are in good working order and not leaking then you will be fine to have the tank inside with you. Protect the valve from impact trauma and, in my opinion, remove the regulator when not in use. Here in the shop I secure my tanks with a chain to prevent them from tipping over. Keeping CO2 tanks inside is very common practice. Consider all of the home kegerators, aquariums, bars, and/or restaurants out there. Many of these have indoor CO2 tanks. I don't think you really know how it works. Replace all the "O" rings! Now, don't blame it on the temperature. The reason it stopped the leak is due to your applying lubricant on the "O" rings. Also, you were over tightening it. You also don't know the proper use of the pipe wrench.

OMG! Don't you know which direction a pipe wrench works??? You were using it the opposite direction to the right way! At the 8:20 mark, it was loose, we didn't see how! Did you take it to a mechanical shop that actually knew what they were doing? I noticed by the 15:40 mark, you'd figured it out. Oh by the 21:20 mark, your apparent lack of knowledge astounds me! Or maybe it's that you don't explain it real well. It's got more to do with the saturated vapor pressure of CO2, which is equalizing the pressures in the mother cylinder and daughter cylinder, and without a difference in pressure to force the liquid across, nothing moves. When you cool the daughter cylinder, you reduce the vapor pressure in it, and then you have a higher pressure in the mother cyl, which then pushes the liquid across. Otherwise, it was a fairly reasonable video. Good luck.

Omg. Before you took it outside 😮. I may not be an expert, but i know not to dump a pretty full bottle indoors.
CO2 always makes us sleepy. More research is needed to find out why...
