  • In this clip, Daylyt talked about the influence of Chief Keef on this current generation and how it spells trouble for the youth. Daylyt said he's a fan of Chief Keef's music but stated that his music has led to, whether directly or indirectly, to the murderous environment that gripped Chicago throughout this decade.
    Later on, Daylyt asks Vlad why everyone moves to Calabasas and urges rappers to start making music with a message.

      yea he did explain that. In a livestream, Daylyt described how his beef with AK started a few years ago. It happened once he noticed how Ak would never give him attention until one day he pulled some kinda antic(probably when he tried to shit on stage at a rap battle). Next thing you, Ak is posting about how Daylyt is "not what hiphop needs" or "bad for the culture". Mind you, Day was still speaking on conscious shit. Thats when it made clear that Ak will only promote negativity.

    Legitimately this is how I feel about Dr. Dre, snoop, Ice Cube, Eazy e, and all the gangster rappers from the 90's. I'm from that era and I feel like they influenced an entire generation to do bad- gangbang, party and take hard drugs, become alcoholics and addicts, have unsafe safe, and rebel against doing good things. It's really sad tbh. I've felt like this for decades. I'm in my 30's and I saw what that influence had on society from the 90's. That was my generation and I saw how they corrupted an entire generation. And the devil paid them off well for their work. Very sad. Agree with Daylyt

      I had a friend live there, but there's literally nothing out there besides nice houses in a gated community and the occasional celeb sighting. It's a nice area to live if you can afford it (literally have to be on a minimum of 6 digits to millionaire income), but not much going on and still some distance from the main spots that LA has to offer

I feel the same way about chief keef when it comes to the impact he had on the late 90s babies and 2000s babies. 2012 the world didnt end literally but it basically did once Chicagos gang violence became glorified. So many people was getting killed during the drill era trying to be like one of the chicago rappers

  • @SotNist
    @SotNist 5 років тому +3

    Same way I feel about early 90's gangsta rap. There's a lot of personal strength and power positivity and anti-establishment revolutionary thought in it, but a lot of it is just another poison. I grew up on it, I love it to death, but it was pied piper siren songs and moral decay. In recent years I've let some of the things I've written marinate, hear the abyss in it, and decide that's not what I want to put out there no matter how dope it sounds, and how powerful it feels.
