Are you talking to the East Kirkby group who are restoring Lancaster NX 611 Just Jane back to airworthy condition in the UK.
They are much further down the track and may well be of help with drawings, jig designs and experience.
There is also an ex French Airforce Lancaster here in New Zealand which is in complete static display.
When she arrived she was supplied with all manuals and I believe drawings, all in French of course.
She is at MOTAT in Auckland and if you are not already talking to them they could be well worth contacting.

      A big job to repair.

Kind of seems counterproductive to undertake cosmetic repairs to a fuselage frame which will have to be replaced if the aircraft is ever to be made airworthy. I would have thought that coordinating with CH2A and their rebuild of FM012 would have enabled a sharing of knowledge and parts procurement, especially as 102 suffered similar plinth damage. 102 is being rebuilt to airworthy standard, even though it's owners, the city of Windsor, have no intention of ever flying it. It's got to make sense for all Lancaster restorers to work together.
