You have made some fantastic progress this month!! I always found it funny how brands came up with sizes of products. For example: colored liners I think should be shorter compared to brown or black liners. Highlighters should be smaller pans than blush or bronzers.
Highlights should be smaller for sure! But then again, if they tried to charge us $40 for less product, I don't think that would go over well. Same thing with colored liners, cause you know they would charge the same price for colors vs brown/black. I do love my colored liners. ❤️
Awesome update! I like the idea of switching the product after you finish the elf primer. Maybe a single shadow or a gloss you can pair with the marc jacobs lipstick would be a roll in idea.
I do have a gloss in my 24 in 2024 that I have been keeping track of!! My 24 in 2024 update will go up on the 10th and maybe in the Project Pan update in May I will roll out the primer and roll in the gloss. I love that idea!!! Thank you!!
OH wow! That would be a challenge!!! I'm thinking about joining the Grave Yard Project Pan....or another project later in the year that I want to roll in things other than makeup to pan and track. 🤔
@@erintaylorwrites definitely a challenge! Recommend starting with maybe only one polish at a time, or maximum two or three if you want some variation to rotate through. Graveyard is so fun! I use it to go through one makeup item, one eyeshadow, one hair care, one body, one skincare and one miscellaneous that could be a wildcard.
Thank you for your thoughts!! I think I do want to switch up some things, but I don't like putting some things into this project since I want to keep options open for Deck of Panning and my Project 10 Uses! ❤️
I love the njc powder it’s so nice! Your own that palette was just rolled into my no pan left behind project 😅 lookin forward to using some purple shadow! 😊
Most of my brow products take me 8 months to go through, but I'm about to be done with my ABH brow pencil and start to use my Benefit one that is in my 24 in 2024. I almost want to put all of y'all's suggestions into a wheel and have it randomized. 🤔
Great update, yes I would Rather see a different product just to change things up. I have pan in two bronzer and I'm loving it. I've become a big fan of eye crayon type products.
I NEVER thought that I would like eye crayons!! It's crazy! I have some ideas rolling around for replacing the primer next update to spice it up! Pans in TWO bronzers! That's awesome!!
Great progress! No preference on switching out primer, but whatever you’d have more fun doing. Could be interesting to see how long a different product lasts.
Thank you for your feedback! I think I do want to bring something different in and show off some other products! @_turnip_ suggested a gloss and I think I have just the one!
I just hit pan in one of the pomade shades in my Danessa Myricks Groundwork palette today. It is currently in my No Pan Left Behind project but the pan was unintentional and a happy surprise for sure! GREAT update and progress for you in the last month! I am very much looking forward to your cream blush melting etc video this month!! Have a great weekend! 🫶🏻
It’s Just Steph also has a pan in her DM palette, and it seems like it is easy to pan? Shallow pans? Either way, YAY for a new pan!!! I have a few things to film this weekend, so while I have all my stuff set up, I’ll do my cream blush “re pressing” as well! Can’t wait!!
I'm going to roll something else in next month, but I will have my Byes and Buys and also my end of year empties, so I will no doubt be able to show how many I go through this year! Thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️
I’m obsessed with the blush you’re wearing today it’s natural and beautiful ! I’ve had ofra cosmetics and they have broken on me so much 😢 Regardless you do such a great job on getting through your collection 🫡👏🏼🎉
Thank you!! ☺️ I have repressed that Ofra blush so many times! I would say, just repress it if they keep breaking! Mixing the two colors of Chick Lit together was such an amazing idea!! I am having so much fun getting through my products! What have you used up recently?! 👀 I’m always curious!
@@erintaylorwrites yes I’d love to mix some together I just need the time and patience ! & I’ve been working through so many empties I finally was inspired by you and others to create a google sheets with all my inventory and different stats to help motivate me ! I just started using the halo glow foundation and am sad that I’m not loving it as much as I though I would. I think it’s because I lean towards more medium coverage and combo skin
@@LuxRLD Halo Glow Foundation? Like the Liquid Filter that I'm using? I have always thought that people are brave to use it as a stand alone foundation and not a primer/mixer/highlighter. Are you mixing it with your regular foundation or using it as foundation alone?
@@erintaylorwrites oh I’m using it alone but use a primer underneath and a concealer on top under eye areas. But if I didn’t use it with a setting powder I don’t think it would work that well. I even found it a bit streaky imo. I’ll try mixing it with my tarte shape tape aqua (that’s a discontinued foundation that I have to use up might work best because that’s fuller coverage and a bit darker, good for summer) thanks for the tip though! 💖
@@LuxRLD ❤ Of Course! I know some people can get away with using it alone, but I don't think it would look good in natural light, because like you said, it would be streaky. I love it mixed into a foundation and if you are combo and not setting it down, 😂 not laughing at you, just thinking about what a grease ball I would be if I didn't use powder! It would just break apart and not look good when my oils would come through! You will have to let me know how you like it mixed in with your foundation. I would say, one dip into the product for each pump of foundation you use.
I keep forgetting to use it as a blush (says the person who turns all the lipsticks into blushes) 🤦♀️ I am still so curious what Marc Jacobs is going to come back out with!
I think I'd like to see you roll in a different cream product after you finish with the ELF primer please Erin. Can I ask have you recorded a video showing your panning journal? I searched your channel but couldn't find anything. I have a lovely new notebook to use but I'm unsure how to set it out.
Hey there!! Yes! I have already had so many wonderful idea about what to roll in instead of the primer!! If you look at my Project Pan Finale video from 1/4/2024 and My intro from 1/5/2024, they have a look at my journal from last year and this year’s set up as well! I can do a little update on it maybe next month with how it is looking one quarter into the year! Thank you for your comment and I hope I can point you in the right direction to see the panning journal!
@@erintaylorwrites thanks so much Erin, that's very helpful. Can't wait to see your video on remelting your cream blushes. I have two mini lipsticks from MAC that I want to mix together. I did see your short and saw you use a heat gun. For those of us who don't have one, can you suggest some alternatives in your video please? Love your channel. I always watch your videos straight away when they come up in my feed! My project is going pretty well I think. I've finished 5 makeup products this year and should be able to finish a lot more this year. I feel so much more in control of my collection now that I'm deliberately focusing on using things up 🥰
@@LornaKelso Finishing 5 products so far is awesome!!! I’ll mention this in the video, but an alternative to the heat gun would be a blow dryer. It should get hot enough. I don’t own a regular blow dryer, just one of the brush dryer things, so I can’t say for sure that it would work and get hot enough. it’s about to be summer, so even putting it on the dash of the car in direct sun. 😂 Or maybe it’s just that hot here. ☀️
@@erintaylorwrites I'm in Ireland. The hottest it gets is maybe 28C (82F). That's very hot for us! I could not survive in Florida. My pale skin would just melt right off 🤣🤣🤣. Sure I'll give my hairdryer a go and let you know how I get on in a comment 🙂
@@LornaKelso I have been conditioned to the heat. 😂 If it could be about 74F all the time, I would be so happy since anything below 68F to me is COLD 🥶. We are getting our air conditioning unit serviced tomorrow so that it can last through the summer because even one day without it is miserable.
Great update. I have great progress on my three skin tints. My Vieve skin nova is coming to an end but did not take it with me (currently travelling) but went for the halo glow. Also seen progress in my rare beauty liquid blush in bliss. I have stopped solely focusing on finishing products I rather want to get use out of everything. Can you not make a cream blush out of the Marc Jacob’s lipstick?
Those Rare liquid blushes have so much product!! That's awesome that you are making more progress on it! Also, good mindset shift to rotate through the powder products. I had to wear the Radiant one in the winter time here, but if you are normal to combo in UK weather, that would should do well! It is very natural looking, which would be lovely for a wedding! Do you have a way of getting a sample of it to try before the big day? I know a lot of brides will do a trial makeup run just to make sure everything works out.
I like it, not my favorite, and I would not buy it again. It's also weird how it smells like cucumber melon. It's thick, but it wears well. I would go back to my Nars Complete Matte Foundation in a heart beat even if it is 3 times the cost.
@@alienbabyofficial I was not expecting that smell! Very weird and took me back to the cucumber melon lotion that everyone had in middle school.
