Vault Hunters is a modpack currently in Open Beta after being showcased in Alpha on the Vault Hunters SMP with Iskall85, CaptainSparklez, and many other UA-camrs. It is unique in that it focuses on action rpg style gameplay as well as all the classic Minecraft elements, with over 2.1 billion different chestplates, swords, idols and more, the pack features a never-before-seen depth!

Sorry for the lack of modded content in the first two episodes! We had to take care of all this stuff first, but next episode will be our first vault! Super excited to give it a go and try out a bunch of new skills too :)
We dont mind it was the same for iskall anyway
Don't forget to make health potions and bring your extra eyes of ender into the vaults. You don't heal while in the vault, and village rooms have strongholds below them. You can complete the end portals to spawn a bunch of chests.

Before you go into the first vault, it might be a good idea to get netherite armor. In Vault Hunters netherite actually adds some armor value.
Fun fact, in vault hunters you don't need any arrows to use an infinity bow. Give it a shot and save the inventory space. You'll need it.
That is such a nice tip! I honestly had no idea :) excited that I get to save an inventory space since Im always running out lol.
a lot of people rush through Vault Hunters, so I really like the pacing and how you take your time to make quality content, and not just produce as many videos as many youtubers tend to do

Im glad youre enjoying it! I am trying my best to get everything I can done at each stage rather than push through too fast and realize I am undergeared or unprepared.
Rage please read this:
1) You can buy Armor and Weapons from Villagers, from the Armourors and the weapon smiths respectively They're made using Blast Furnace and Smithing table. You do have to level them up to Master to get diamond gear but, it's already enchanted, and if you don't like the enchants you can get levels for them through grindstone.
2) There's a way to anvil enchants that's less xp costing, which I am not gonna explain here but there are tutorials on UA-cam.
3) The drangon's a she... (Or it)

For those, who wonder about 2nd tip: *gear + ((A + B) + (C+D))* takes *WAY* less XP than (((gear + A) + B) + C) + D. Also change books left and right to save extra xp.
Thank you for all the tips! I honestly always forget theres so many useful villagers outside of farmers and librarians. I also never play vanilla so both my trading and enchanting mechanics are a wee bit rusty to say the least haha.

I would recomend using mending. Villagers sell it too. Most things that have durability except it. Use golden carrots from the farmer, they are the best food in vanilla. Use armores if you need new diamond armor and weapon/toolsmith if you need there diamond versions. They are enchated but the grindstone fixes that.
Mending was on the top of my list to take care of after this video and an xp farm is right after that! It will be well worth it.
Armourers and weapon and toolsmiths are kind of bad. Strip mining is more fun anyway.

If/when you get to adding modifiers to vault crystals and end up with Cooperative, PLEASE invite ChosenArchitect to do the vault with you! I’m dying to see you two collab on something!
I would absolutely love to do collabs with Chosen! Hes one of my favorite people on youtube and a good friend :) I will have to look into how to Co-op stuff works!
"Because I'm definitely not building with it." OOF. I see that someone has never put deepslate into a stonecutter before. The textures for the various deepslate building blocks are *amazing* for building.
Please get mending, watching you repair your pickaxe with diamonds is killing me. Great content as per usual though 👍
Mending on everything + an xp farm is next on my list of non modded stuff to do! Should have it done off camera within my next few episodes so we no longer have to worry (until we get to higher tier gear from the vault).

Hey! Since you said you were unfamiliar with optimal enchant paths with books I will type them out for ya.
Helmet:
Respiration III + Mending = 2 levels
Protection IV + Aqua Affinity = 2 levels
Respiration III / Mending + Protection IV / Aqua Affinity = 8 levels
Helmet + Unbreaking III = 3 levels
Helmet / Unbreaking III + Respiration III / Mending / Protection IV / Aqua Affinity = 18 levels
*Helmet enchant Total: 33 levels*
Chestplate:
Protection IV + Mending = 2 levels
Chestplate + Unbreaking III = 3 levels
Chestplate / Unbreaking III + Protection IV / Mending = 8 levels
*Chestplate enchant total: 13 levels*
Leggings: *Follow as if were chestplate, exactly the same.*
Boots:
Boots + Mending = 2 levels
Depth Strider III + Protection IV = 4 levels
Boots / Mending + Depth Strider III + Protection IV = 12 Levels
Soulspeed III + unbreaking III = 3 levels
Soulspeed III / Unbreaking III + Feather Falling IV = 5 Levels
Boots / Mending / Depth Strider III / Protection IV + Soulspeed III / Unbreaking III / Feather Falling IV = 25 levels
*Boots enchant total: 51 levels
Keep in mind this is the god enchant route, taking certain enchants out will only make it cheaper if you try to stay along these lines as best as possible. If you want to see it in video format + weapon and tool paths Shulkercraft made a video about it that I reference to this day when I am strapped on levels. its something along the lines of "Best Enchants for armor and Items in Minecraft"

Just a fyi from the last video. The vaults require a crystal that has a random recipe. The recipe how ever can use any item in the game. And also in big amounts. The seeds from last episode would be pretty useful if you get it as a recipe

Quick Tip: ender chest doesn't work in the vault, bring a LOT of Immersive Crates (they stack when empty) and a bunch of shulkers because you can put the create inside the shulker, keep the Create in your hotbar to quick access. 6 health potions should be enough. If you get a hard vault + crowded try to get one or two rooms QUICKLY and get out immediately.
Oh, If the room is an abandoned old town be careful with TNTs hidden. TNT triggers on click
Good tip. My 1st vault I screwed up and took an ender chest full of shulkers 🤦♂️
I would suggest getting some cleric villagers. You have way too many emeralds and not enough xp, clerics will sell you bottle o enchanting, so you get xp from trading and the bottles.

At 15:28 - I found the same area. Its basically a flat open space with a bunch of enderman / spiders / and a lot of coal .... found out the hard way :P
I appreciate your sacrifices for content.
A skill point in experience goes a long way for all that enchanting...
Cleaver title
that big flat cave you encountered on your way down to the stronghold is a Crevice from Quark, and the large turtle-like things in it are toretoises (also from Quark).
the toretoises are neutral, and you can hit them once with a pickaxe to mine the ore on their backs, which will regenerate after a while. Doing so does not damage them.
Also, you got really lucky with that crevice generation, as a bug in current versions (1.16+) causes structures it generates into to be nonexistent where they and the crevice overlap, and this can even cause end portal frames to not generate.
Oh gosh, so I was just 30 or so blocks off losing that end portal when terrain generation happened! Thats crazy!
You could also use mending top repair your Tools with exp which you could get from Trading
quality content at its finest
you should get mending from villagers. that way you don’t need to waste diamonds on repairing and it won’t make repairing super expensive. (also efficiency doesn’t use less durability just makes it go faster)

It's better to put the most leveled or/and the must rarer enchantments first, that way will cost you less XP...
And when was the last time you fought the ender dragon so quick??
Ahhh okay, makes sense. I usually just have modded armor with augments and never have to enchant haha. Also I rarely ever even kill the dragon if I dont have to soooo Id say this was pretty much 20x faster than I've ever done it lmao.

There is the corpse mod so if you fall in lava like you mentioned you can go to the deathpoint and pick up items from the skeleton
You do have viewers who have played on this pack, we can help you with suggestions, major one is to get yourself set up to have health potions before running a vault, also you'll be on this pack for MONTHS
Nobody can pass up the books
Idk how you like your hud on the top but it's using Waila and if you want to change it, hit 0 on your number pad to open the options menu, but if you don't have one, go to config
I'm going to add chunkloaders and put it in the locked mods section to unlock if I can figure out how

When i first saw this video i went to school then 2.5 hours just spamming random stuff into google and airdroping to random people and 13/12 hours trying to figure out how to get rid of 2.32 factorial in my program so I’m 23 hours late :(

Lol its been like 3 days... and I work an 8-5 job as a chemical engineer so UA-cam is only done as a hobby (even so I still upload every Monday/Thursday and have consistently for well over a year).
