I love the patience you showed in this video. Sometimes it’s easy to fall into the whole not swatching, not unraveling, just “speed through”. That’s not what knitting is about. I’m trying to be better at taking the time to think, swatch, look, feel, knit, fix, start over. Much better than ending up with a lot of hand knits that you like but don’t love. Thank you for showing us your version of this 🤍

Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed the Video! I totally agree better to have fewer pieces that you really love!!! than many that are just cute.

Alpaca is slick and slippery. Many chose to use wooden needles because its so slick but I use metal needles for everything.

they are super cute, and then you can hang up your favorite ones on the wall or in a frame as deco

@@knittingwitheve so true! I've started hanging mine on a cork board. Very inspiring when I'm designing new patterns :)

Hi Eve, I thought the lilac alone was a good color for you. The muted one, lilac with the mohair is pretty, however I thought the un-muted choice was nice with your complexion and hair color. Of course this is based on how colors look online. Thank you for the fun video. 🙂

I really like the second lilac swatch and the elisabeth blouse will look amazing!🥰🧶 But make sure to measure the swatch after blocking it! Some yarns grow quiet a lot and measuring before blocking isn‘t that accurate

yes! they are currently drying so i will re measure before casting on, if it grows too much I might just go with a smaller needle, and see if i still meet guage! 😊

I also did not like the first swatch for the porcelain sweater.. the combo gave Lego mechanic man outfit 😅 The Elisabeth Blouse swatch looked divine ✨
Also as a tip, I figured out that if you keep the Ravelry login page as a bookmark - like I did - it will not remember you, you need to bookmark the actual homepage :D
