Dobe Newton and Roger Corbett. Absolute true blue legends. When I was 9, Mum and I saw The Bushwackers live in 1994. One of the most fun nights ever. I even met Dobe Newton with Mum after the show. What a gentleman. I got one of their CD's and had all of the band members sign it. Still proudly own that CD to this day. 😊
I mainly follow the rugby union and league teams, but it would be amazing and imagine that there wouldn't be a dry eye in the house! I have a lot of cousins who are into AFL though. 😊

Their bush dances at Sydney town hall & Sydney Art School etc in the 80s were great fun. Dobe is a national treasure. Jess' joy & reaction is so heartwarming & authentic. Used to go and watch Buswackers every Friday night at Dan O'Connells pub in Carlton over 4 years ago. The atmosphere and entertainment and talent of the band had people up and singing on the tables. Great memories.
They didn't, they went far,but they decided to pull out,and let the next generation go ahead,even the producers were shocked that they pulled out,not for medical reasons either, it was all them. Even Sonya was shocked about their announcement. 👋💕🇦🇺
