Your tutorials are fabulous. I start my painting project and about halfway through I think "I don't like this " but I continue to the end of the video. When I'm finished I change my mind to "I love this painting!" Thank you 😊
I am diving back in ti=o Watercolor painting after many years...your tutorials are just to thing to review my skills & learn new ones. Thank you so very much...!
Thanks for these gems of inspiration. A special congratulations for the close up images which show exactly what you do and what the paint does....great work . Chris
I love monday madness please continue doing them I also have a idea of what you should paint next you should paint the japan trees the pink ones there are really pretty
I’m very new and so appreciate your style of painting and teaching. I don’t have many paint colors as of yet. Wondering if you could mention a few substitutes for the colors you use in your paintings. What could I use instead of peacock blue?
Hi Ellen, can you tell us what brand pallet you use? Mine is plastic and the paint bubbles up on it and I find that hard to mix and annoying. Yours doesn't appear to react that way. LOVE this mini, as always!!
Love this! I am a beginner and love painting along with you. When using gauche does the brush have to be rinsed in a separate container of water? is it necessary to clean the brush differently?
Mine is so bad I could cry :( It just looks so flat. Yours looks like the lavender is actually standing up and growing, mine is just flat purple sludge :( but hey the sky looks nice!
Ellen Crimi-Trent- Artist Thank you, I love simple solutions! When one spends more for the “good stuff” it makes even more sense to use every last bit! I’m just beginning this journey and am loving your patient informative videos. You break down the process to such an understandable level, that even a rookie can find success while building skill. Thanks for taking the time to respond 🤗🥰👩🏼🎨

nope since its water based paint- unless your buying acrylic gouache.
@@ellencrimitrent thank you. The tube doesn't say acrylic.

I love the edges of your paper. How do you get it like that? This painting is beautiful. I can't wait to try it!
Michelle Sweetser you fold it and tear along the fold.
@@trinawebber686 thank you!
Ellen, what do you tape the paper to? I see you lifted it up, so I do see it it isn’t your table, 🤪Thanks!
its taped to a piece of cardboard the end of an Arches pad :) when all the paper is gone I use it to tape paper for wet on wet paintings.
