10:37 this represents every group slug and green deck at tables. Group slug gets hated out just for existing and green decks get to do whatever they want because “that’s what green does” mentality.
Green does what it wants bc the hope is that a timely counterspell/fog stops them dead. You never seem to have it up at the critical moment tho haha
The Jwari Disruption coming in from the top ropes was crazy lol
Actually insane that incremental pinging is seen as scarier than free green things every single turn in a play group that has proven to run very little targeted removal, as a whole
Such is the fate of group slug players lol my group slug deck is my favorite deck and i almost always get hard targeted the whole game lol

I want you guys to play with planechase, archenemy, or the mega dungeon that was introduced for Commander Legends: Battle for Baldurs Gate.
Scry 1 and draw is Opt. I've been trying to get 'Opt in', meaning keeping the card and drawing it, and 'Opt out', meaning bottoming the card and drawing the next one, to be adopted. Hasn't really caught on though.
This game is proof enough that Crim is not a control player in Commander. He is chaos incarnate… which I love. 😂
The question is never, “What should I be doing?” The question is always, “What is the most entertaining thing I can do?”

“That card is stax” is funny the first or second time but Jesus I’ve heard it like 20 times this episode and I’m not even done with it.
I am half way through and it is crazy lol And it is the two people who are actually playing stax saying it 😅
Unfortunately with how Niko's ability works because it says until the beginning of your end step, it doesnt allow you to get end step triggers from the creature shards because they are already shards in the beginning of the phase. I was definitely sad to have to take angel of destinies out of my decklist 😭

There's something twisted about Richard convincing Phil to go hard on bounce lands and then being the one now to punish him for it.
Crim and Seth are the most honest players from MTGGoldfish. Richard and Phil are more shady than a drag-queen convention: "Oh, no, I'm not the treat, please don't kill me... and pum! you are dead."
Thanks to Crim for playing so many of the new cards! Cool to see them in action.

I don’t think Aminatou works with X cost enchantments as suggested at 43:58. Aminatou makes an alternate cost, but is not a cost reduction effect, so the miracle cost is still XXUU. (X-4) is not a valid cost.
You're right. Aminatou basically adds a new mana cost (aka miracle cost) onto the card which is the standard cost but up to -4 generic from what it originally was. At this point X is simply "X" so is unaffected. Then, when you cast the card for its new miracle cost you decide what value for X you select.
X costs are confusing and unintuitive sometimes.
I’d love to see another budget commander clash but instead of just doing like a $50 budget, you have it limited to the cards themselves so all cards have to be under $1 or something like that.
The duskmourn precons each came with 10 archenemy cards. I'd like to see you have a go at that that particular 3v1 format
I've been testing out some tech for Niko. My main goal since its really a flicker deck is to use my flickers on the 2 overlords after casting them for impending to get the counters off them right away, and then turn all the shards into copies of the Overlords and swing. Either drawing basically my entire deck or absolutely flooding the board with fliers
While they have impending counters they aren’t creatures so Niko can’t flicker them

@pezzly4697 no. Niko can't flicker things. But the deck is a flicker deck at heart. Flickerwisp, displacer kitten, etc. I have as many cards that can flicker enchantments as I could find that are 3 or less cmc as well as tutors for creatures and enchantments.
Have Overlord in hand? I tutor for Kitten with recruiter of the guard. If I need an Overlord in hand, i have tutors like enlightened tutor to go find them as well.
I also draw cards at mach 11 with mystic remora, rhystic study, the one ring, ect. As well as phyrexian metamorph to copy the one ring if it hurts too much after a while, and he can be tutored by the recruiter.
Kona seems like a sweet deck. I'm not huge on mono green but this one is making me think of brewing it up. I pulled one in my Prerelease kit. Also submitted a deck for the viewer submitted episode! Excited to see what gets chosen, there were a lot of sweet brews.

I love Mind's Dilation so much, it's one of my favourite cards. But it's usually garbage (like we see in this game), and other players massively exaggerate it as a threat. So you get little to nothing from it, and you just get killed.
I just took Kona to my LGS. It won 3 out of my 4 matches. People need to run more removal!
It is getting harder and harder to watch Seth and Phil complain about every point of damage while drawing 400 cards and ramping like crazy every game.

Also only a couple turns in, Generous Gift failed to really stop the slasher, and you've got a 15/15 trampler that turns into more tramply tokens if not exiled.... ;)
Maybe this is splitting hairs, but I’m still trying to figure out what my spot removal package should look like. But wouldn’t Path to Exile maybe be a better choice here than Swords?
@@Jlizard27 path ramps your opponent while swords gains them life. So swords is usually better
Beyond that I would say chaos warp and reality shift are staples. I also really like baleful mastery since giving one opponent a card isn’t as big a drawback in a multiplayer game.
I do think you should still run those universal removal spells like generous gift and beast within. Just exile removal is too powerful to only rely on destroy
I hate that every time crim plays a hate more card that just does damage everyone is immediatly like stacks crim is playing stacks lol

@MTGGoldfishcommander when i use mtggoldfish for arena all of the desks show as invalid with the card name the set and then a (f) am i doing something wrong if i go in and manual remove the (f) it works just a pain to have to keep doing that

Gold border basics are from the old World Championship decks. Up until the early 2000s Wizards printed the best world championship decks of the year as a not tournament legal version with a gold border.
so while i do not like that everything is made for commander even when it is cards for standard i kinda feel it is a flavor fail kona doesn't have "partner with a human" thats the entire point behind the beasties that they are the monstrous versions of pets that still protect their owner

@@JStack way back on clash like early season Vince was a guest for a season and he got cradel and something else banned on the clash ban list cause he played it so much and it’s been so long I will fight to have him back in since the bans he got done are still in effect

Tomer isn’t even being on anymore, and this was supposed to be his season. Instead we get Crim for another season and him refusing to even say the Clash on. So i’d be good with them being done with it.
