AwesomeMichael33 that’s cuz there were more cup drivers back then, but Reed Sorenson, Elliott Sadler, Aric Almirola, and Jason Leffler were much better than Austin Cindric, Brandon Jones, and Noah Gragson. If Noah Gragson is the points leader and Austin Cindric is top 3 in points that’s how u know the series is really weak.
@@imaps3playereveryday Reed Sorenson and Jason Leffler didn’t get a chance to be on good teams, if they had they would’ve had good careers. Aric Almirola finished 5th in points during his first year with SHR and he’s stayed consistent since then. Elliott Sadler wasn’t great, but he wasn’t bad either given the fact that he drove for Richard Petty Motorsports while he was in cup. Meanwhile the current xfinity series guys that I listed suck, and they don’t have any competition in the series, especially now that Briscoe and Ross Chastain are in cup now. Now there’s almost no good drivers in the series.
@@MRYUSOCRZY Because they can't race at Nashville Fairgrounds yet. The amenities and seating capacity are too small to maintain a NASCAR Cup series crowd. This track is coming back for two reasons: 1. To dip their toes into the Nashville market. Nashville has been longing for a NASCAR return since 2011, and this track, being better prepared to hold a NASCAR Cup series race, was the chosen destination. 2. Because the track is signed to a 4-year deal, it will have a ticket tax that will most likely be transferred over to the Fairgrounds. In other words, this could potentially be happening to get money for the renovations required for a Nashville Fairgrounds return 4-5 years from now.
Keep in mind that we have PJ1 now which can be used on the high line and will have similar effects to Nashville as it did to both Dover and Bristol with it being cement. That's also not to mention that the Xfinity series has only recently been the better series in terms of the racing it provides. And the 2021 car will also have a smaller spoiler than what they run so the racing will be closer to the 2014-15 racing

We’re back on June 19, 2021.
Nice to see Josh Wise leading
I forgot how much better cup drivers were than everyone else back then
They still are, especially this year the competition in xfinity is weak as hell besides Briscoe.
Nick S Well now the xfinity drivers at least put up somewhat of a fight. Occasionally they even beat the cup drivers, but back then they were no match

@@jakeumebayashi3243 Same. Initially I thought it was the fairgrounds, but this is just another cookie-cutter style track.
