Like most games these days, it's easier than ever to look like the part on the surface. However, the gameplay looks quite boring, levels seem like empty and vapid space station asset flips, the movement looks janky, character design quite unimaginative, and for a stealth game - impractical and weighty looking.
MGS and DS are lazy marketing comparisons.

Y’all young gamers are far too emotional lol. I definitely see the metal gear references right from the start. The camera movements, the HUD, scanning, and movements. Definitely like metal gear solid 5. That game was big and a lot to take, but I get the reference for sure.

I clocked 270 hrs in Death Stranding, in my top three games of last gen. Not for everyone though, you either love it or hate it.

PC also count as a platform. Just because it's only available for PS5 and not other consoles doesn't mean it's exclusive.
