This recording really highlights Stewart's magnificent tom sound. Everybody talks about his signature snare, hihat and splash sounds which are amazing, but those toms are divine. I remember reading that hi cranks the top head high with the resonant head lower. I'm sure he referenced Max Roach when it came to tuning the toms.
It's his whole kit and the way he played it - damn tasty! And I even love(d) the way he set it up... even that was esthetically pleasing to the max to me. Brilliant drummer!
@@matthewleclair6817 He's a good one. I put Ringo Starr up there too but for different reasons, he played cross body because he was left handed and I've YET to meet a drummer who can duplicate to the second a Ringo Starr beat, Simple but incredible.

I can´t help to say it, but Sting never reached this driving force without the police. And this is a pretty good proof of it.
