In this video I share my labor and delivery story of our triplet boys. They came 1 week earlier than planned at 34 weeks. I experienced real labor as well as having an emergency c-section, which was not what I was expecting.

Age: me 34, husband 37
Started trying to conceive in October 2013
Tried lots of natural remedies: nutrition, supplements, acupuncture
Testing in 2016: told we had unexplained infertility
March 2018: reevaluated and told had low AMH (0.8) and low antral follicle count
Told IUI with orals and injectable medications would be our next step
June 2018, started IUI procedures
Did a total of 4 IUI with no success or any pregnancy
October told IVF was our next step
Started medications for IVF 12/27/18
Egg retrieval on 1/19/19
Got 13 eggs, 8 mature, 5 fertilized with ICSI
(1) 5-day blast transferred on 3/15/19, failed
(2) 6-day blast transferred on 8/12/19
8/21/19 BFP Big Fat Positive! Pregnant!
9/5/19 found out we are having triplets!!
11/23/19 found out were are having 3 boys!!
3/18/20 Triplets are born at 34 weeks

Congratulations on your triplets! I went through infertility also. My boys are 26 yrs old and 17 yrs old. They are the best things that happened to me. Thank the Lord for the advances in medicine.

I had back labor with my first. It’s totally brutal!! When I had my 2nd I got an epidural as soon as I could!! I didn’t want to relive that pain!! Congrats again! You’re still looking good!

They are such beautiful blessings. They are so alert, bright eyes looking at you so deeply. Precious boys! As painful as it was it's kind of cool that you got to experience labor. Its definitely a story to tell to these guys as they grow, how they surprised you both and demanded the birthday they wanted. You can say that you know what labor feels like, even what transition feels like. If they wouldn't have wheeled you down for the csection those little guys would have made their debut anyway. Glad the docs got it together in time! So happy that all turned out well and you have 3 beautiful, healthy baby boys. Your arms and hearts are full of joy I am certain! Congratulations again! The story of how your family went from 2 to 5 is as precious as those sweet faces.
Your boys have changed so much! They are just so cute. I can't totally understand needing some help, I only had one baby and no c-section and I'd have been lost without my mum. Hope your all staying safe and well.

I got teary a few times during this video, especially with you talking about your little miracles ❤️ My labours were all pretty standard, when I was pregnant with my last I was absolutely dreading labour, the previous six births had all been very long and painful and I didn’t think I had the energy left to go through all that again. I’d separated from my partner early in the pregnancy and I was emotionally and physically drained. Labour started and it was very intense and very painful from the first contraction. Within minutes my water broke, and I felt my babies head moving down! I didn’t have time to do anything but close my eyes and push! He cane out so fast that I still had my clothes on lol, I had to reach into my pyjama pants and lift my sweet baby boy into my arms
Oh but they're beautiful 💙💙💙 So thankful that they got here safely, despite the craziness 😁 God bless you all, much love from across the pond in the North of England 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
They look great, Bonnie. They’re filling out and their skin is glowing. So cute! I would think it would take you a full 6-7 weeks to recover, maybe longer because of your lack of sleep. So happy to see your bright face and to hear your story! Certainly a lot to tell your grandchildren.

They have changed and grown so much! With my first, I hardback labor. Awful! Don't push yourself too hard! You are actually going through two recoveries. Major surgery and child birth! Prayers continue for your sweet family!

With my last son I went in the hospital at 9 pm but by 10 pm the Dr on call decided I should sleep for awhile and my husband went home because the men's waiting area was flooded?.My husband was home for 10 minutes when the hospital called and told him to come back.The baby had dropped and was compressing the cord.A Dr I did not know came in and said has anyone told you this is a big baby. He did a c section and my third son was 9 pounds and 23 inches long.That was a very intense 2 hours.Your sons are beautiful and you look great.God Bless

I had exactly the same symptoms ( intense back pain) with my previous pregnancy, delivered our son that same day at 36 weeks.

I measured myself, and I am 62” tall and I was 52” around. Yikes!! My daughter only weighed 8lbs1.1/2 oz. Dr told me my due date was 12/27 and I said no it’s the week of 12/9. I had her 12/10.

My first child was due on December 29 th and I went to the doctor that day. No progress. She had not even dropped. But the doctor told me he would admit me for induction. I called the hospital and they had no rooms. So I waited at home until they called me around 8:00 pm. I received the cervadil and they took me to labor and delivery the next morning at 8:00 am. As they were placing he monitoring belts they told me to turn to my side. I did and when they attached the belt I turned over on my back and the next thing I know everyone came running in the room. Within 15 minutes they had me being prepped for an emergency C-section. I did not know what was going on. So as they prepped the sterile area I got out of the restraints and kept saying no no no I will push her out. The nurse had to grab me by the gown and get in my face to explain I could not push her out because I was not even in labor. So I laid back down without breaking sterile field. They even allowed my husband in the room during surgery because I was so upset. Hospitals usually do not allow that. When I woke up I found out she was squeezing her umbilical cord. She had it in her hands. So I have four children and I have never had a contraction not even a Braxton Hicks. My oldest is 23 and my youngest is 2.5 yrs old. My first grandchild is 5 months old. My youngest daughter had a baby 2 years and 10 days after my son. So he became an uncle at 2 yrs old. My youngest was born when I was 50 and my youngest daughter was 18 when she gave birth. I have PCOS I was told I would never have children. I had my first three in 3.5 years all girls then 16 yrs later I had my son. So for those waiting it will happen in Gods time. Crazy I never planned for children. I wanted them but I never thought I would have them. The funny thing is my mom was a grandmother to 15 grandchildren and they were all csection babies. Her great grand babies are about half csections and half natural. 6 vs 7. But the natural are daughter-in-law that married into our family. All the girls on our-side had csections also.
I had one baby and I had trouble for 6weeks after.
They probably did give you more spinal anesthesia then normal since 3 babies would be expected to take longer then a standard c section with a singleton and a spinal anesthesia isn’t a catheter like an epidural

I just had a stomach surgery that was followed by some intense shoulder pain. My Doctor said that there is a pain receptor in my shoulder for my diaphragm. Go figure something I thought was totally unrelated was totally related!
Ectopic pregnancies can also cause intense shoulder pain - our bodies are weird :) lol

Referred pain in your shoulder is normal.
The shaking was completely normal. That's how women know the are transitioning into the birthing part. Two births and the first time they didn't tell me and I was so so scared
Please not only a body to wear for the babys....they need it warm...the blotchy skin shows they are feeling cold.
An emergency c-section is when you are intubated and not awake. The title is misleading.

There’s a difference between emergent and urgent. This is considered urgent.
