- Was going to record a P-15, felt pretty down today going through some stuff, so decided to stay home and record this instead. Recently acquired this 1969 Model 2TT from up north and decided to test out after some heavy maintenance. It still works like a champ! A tribute to what Milwaukee could have sounded like with their new sirens and old model 2s.
I test my sirens weather permitting on the second Wednesday of each month along with Milwaukee county. I test between 1.5 and 2 minutes of Alert.
I utilize multiple forms of remote activation for the T-128, and for now the Model 2TT is manually controlled via a breaker.
Arguably the most reliable sirens in the county at this point 😭
@@TheSirenGeek agreed let’s hope everything works again eventually like it used to
@@TheSirenGeek Truth though, faster sounding in a severe weather event too 😭
That T-128 sounded great, Josh!
Nice, county tested at 12:02pm and the Greenfield fire station was a no show but the other new ones passed with flying colors
Yeah I was waiting for it to go off
Nice! I recorded a P-15 that I didn't notice there at the victory school In Milwaukee. It was the siren closest to me which is a few minutes away.
You can hear victory school fire up in this video, I’m just south of the menards on 27th so about a mile
Nice! that 2T sounds great!
They sounding great!! And these are prob the only reliable things left there lmao
If I’m ever in the area one day, your sirens will be my only resort since they’re the only sirens that work up to this point.
Humor Aside, the 2T sounds wonderful! I would be lying if I said I wasn’t impressed by the 128 either, those things are beasts for modern technology imo.
@@VirtualSimulations-Sirens1954B 😭😭😭 I mean feel free to stop by and record whenever, the pool and the hot tub are open too 😭😭
In all seriousness there is a nice shot of the 128 in the fall/winter/spring that you can see from the sidewalk and if I’m around I can show you the siren museum of useless junk. It may or may not be site “FAG” on TheSirenGeeks WI map.
@@BLS2008 Hm. Nice! 😭
@@VirtualSimulations-Sirens1954B I just realized you weren’t a local and feel le-stoopid. Hopefully you can get to a Milwaukee test before the system is gone. I believe we are set to complete by next year so there may only be 10 more months of the system with sirens being replaced ASAP
Great video, Josh!
Thanks buddy! Hope you’re doing alright
Nice! Went to record whitefish with a few people and seemed to fail sadly..
For split second I thought the T-128 was the model 2 Then I saw the title
Tornado warnings
Hawt.
Nice i recorded mines too
There ASC T135 ambience
@@tornadosirenroubik4124 Nice! I’ll have to check out your video. For me, it’s just nice to take a step back from replacing Milwaukee County sirens and actually enjoy the hobby haha!
@@BLS2008 yeah
@@BLS2008 well there Franklin T135s I have to edit it 1st
Im done with MKE county lol.
@@ACAFan101 What did you try recording today? Heard there were a few failures
@@BLS2008 Whitefish Bay. That whole north side didn’t go.
@@ACAFan101 oof that’s bad, I did hear the Hurricane went though but we had a lot down here that didn’t go either
