I am 53. I " discovered" LED Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix etc..in my teens. That was it. That was my music. Then, in my 20's, a friend gave me a Metallica cassette. I fell in love. But.... I thought everything else would be "too metal" for me ... until I heard Bodies. LOVED IT!! Still love it . Never heard anything else from them. Going to fix that tonight. Going to listen to everything I can find from them.
Curious, how did that go for you? Find others you liked? I would be really surprised if you didn't like the stuff off of 'Desensitized', their second album, and the first one after their original lead singer Dave Williams died.

+T Reaper I also felt like 'Resilience' was a great step up too. Hellelujah is even better, felt like it is their best album to date. IMO I feel like album wise it would now be Hellelujah, Sinner and Resilience. Followed by Desensitized, then DP self titled and finally Full Circle(no negative to being down the list, I like all the albums, but it just goes in order of favorites). Jasen is an excellent vocalist and has both a unique sound to his voice and lyrics.
+Maximus Aralieous yeah I hear you. I feel like the new record really shows who they are as a group. It's not just a bunch of random songs pushed into a collection. It reminds me of sinner they seem to be all on the same page
+T Reaper I thought Jason was ok, but pretty much quit listening to them for the most part because it wasn't that in your face intensity like Dave brought, and it seems like he has brought it back to all the band!! One member can effect the work of all the others and he didn't seem to have that drive and passion, you can write a good song all day long without the passion to sing it still won't sound that great!
