I guessed that was Ashton New Road and Saint Cross at the end of the footage. I went to Saint Willibrord's. Thanks for sharing this.

Brilliant those were the days when folk went to church and were proud to walk in the march of witness, we walked with the Salvation Army at Ashton. My Gran and Aunty's went to St Cross and all the Aunty's were married
    there.The Hine family.

Hi there, I'm a producer working on a new film about the history of Manchester and I'm really keen to learn more about this footage. Is there an email address I can contact you on? Many thanks, J.
