Thanks. I appreciate the info.
I put up one of your Lakewood Lodge 10-man tents in Utopia TX on Mill Creek if you want to come join us for either the 2023 eclipse or 2024 eclipse. The tent is at the exact spot both eclipses meet🍻 Don’t be square

I live in Fort Worth, TX (close to downtown), within the path of totality. Fortunately I won't have to go anywhere, as long as the weather cooperates of course! The good news is that we have a decent chance of seeing sunny weather in North Texas, at least compared to most other US locations within the path of totality (only parts of Texas southwest of here have a greater probability of sunny weather).
On the other hand, I might want to go just slightly further east for a longer period of totality. Kaufman is near the centerline, although I do contemplate going no further east than Dallas. Despite the shorter period, I might want to just stay in Fort Worth; who knows? (FYI, the far northwest portions of Fort Worth will actually not see totality)
My plan is to be on the south side of Dallas with family.
Lucky you! I have to travel to Rochester, New York from my hometown of Wallkill, NY. For me it’s a 3-4 hour drive!
I'm 15 hours from Dallas.
4/8 thats like 5 months away lol
April 8th.
