This happened to me i purchased a product and within 30 days the price decreased. Automatically amazon refunded the difference to me in Amazon Pay. Note - this will not work if you have purchased before any sale from Amazon than u will not get the refund. In normal situation price decreases they will automatically add the difference amount in Amazon Pay.

Dont go on Discounts, Purchase locally but Dont purchase high value item from Amazon otherwise in case of B/D you will get this massage from amazon. "The return window of the product is closed. We'd request you to connect with the manufacturer for further assistance" . Manufacturer on contact refuses to repair even in guarantee period. Now amazon wants service denial letter which manufacturer is not giving . Think my position after purchase of RDP thinbook fo Rs 18000 in Aug 2020 through amazon.
