Stewart Golf: Coming soon!
it's criminal that this man doesn't have a million subs by now. Great golfer, great sense of humor, all around seems like a great dude.
I always loved Pete’s channel, but I feel like he lacked production value for a long time. This last year he has really stepped it up, so I think the subs will keep coming
100% agree. Every bit as entertaining as Rick.
Totally agree. The break 50 video is one my favourite golf videos this year. He is class
This comment is on all of his videos and as much as I love watching Pete play, his trying to be funny, sarcasm and dad jokes throughout the videos can become quite tiresome; maybe this is why he isn't at 1 million...
Its one of lifes great mysteries
The flyovers and the aerials when shots are being taken make this the best golfing content on UA-cam
@@thomasnichols7193 // That one shot w Finchy walking up the fairway and the ocean on the right side on (hole 15?) was pretty sick.
Totally agree this was a pure giney tingle to watch start to finish
Pete is just a better golfing version of what most of us that enjoy golf want to be. The self depracating humour, the humility, everybody is a friend, nobody is a stranger...what a guy! I want to be Peter Finch when I learn how to play better golf!
Pete has turned into my favorite golfer to watch on the tube. Always informative and funny
Skyler the caddie seems like an amazing guy to have on the sticks. Taking on two bags from the looks of things, his attitude and sound advice with how hard Peter was leaning on him (as anyone would and should at a tough course) make him a surprise star of this video.
He underestimated the break on every putt.
Was annoying me that he was touching the ground with the pin when giving a line - just looked so wrong
Would've hoped he knew the greens better.
It CAN'T be easy to caddie for a "celebrity" (or 2) on camera, especially when he's not familiar with the player's tendencies and club distances. He did very well all things considered.
@@tc410 I don't think he was perfect on the greens, but that's always more subjective. If you listen to their give and take on the greens, I think he was expecting Peter to hit a bit firmer and take the break out of his putts a bit more because that's what he's used to, and almost all of his misses crossed short. If I'm golfing with a caddie, I want their advice more away from the green anyway, because that's where the advice is going to be universal. Putting advice is always subjective to each players feel, and I really only want to the advice to make sure that me and the caddie agree on which way the break is overall because I know they don't know my touch, and I'm either going to find it on my own or not on a day to day basis depending on the course, but that's not on them.
Peter is awesome! He’s in the absolute top echelon of UA-cam golf content creators! Keep em coming!
Best of the UK UA-cam creators at the moment. Really enjoy his collaborations and also his solo stuff. Team around him seem pretty sound too. Good work guys 😊
Absolutely beautifully filmed video, production values are incredible, and some of those shots coming in were simply unbelievable. Best content on UA-cam by a long, long way.
I love that you wear the hats from each course... your hat collection must be huge!
I e been thinking the same thing!!!!
Thanks
I love how dramatic the intro is x) really sits you down for the ride
Thanks Peter for the content..I'm 51 and haven't played golf for 15 years....I'm getting back into it and you and Rick make me wanna play again so much, keep going mate and come down to NZ for a round one day
The channel deserves so much praise. Top drawer from start to finish. Well done on managing those demons too Peter 👏
just don't understand why you haven't got more subs. great golf, great courses, great production. Love this channel
Played there years ago on Christmas Day. Cold…windy…ate my lunch. Bucket list. Gorgeous!
Love all your videos Pete, no pretentious crapola, just pure golf. It's like watching one of my best buddies. You deserved to be 3/4 shots better on this one. Super shooting especially after the slightly nervy start!
I grew up playing sand belt courses in Australia - absolutely love seeing this -
Melbourne Australia, I imagine!
First time I ever played golf in the US was here back in 1990 - talk a bout a baptism of fire - we described it as an Easter egg hunt! Brought back great memories thanks Pete great video!
Shout out to a super cool and super chill caddie! And far and away the best cinematography and editing of any UA-cam gold video. Fact,
I must say, the production of your videos is top notch! Shot tracker from the drone is an awesome touch. Great video, I enjoyed it and great playing!
It adds a lot actually
Another great video from the Best Driver of the Golf Ball on UA-cam (maybe except for BD)... and if not THAT, the funniest Best Driver of the Golf Ball on UA-cam. And not a bad cameo of Gabbie in the background. Well done mate.
I think I've suggested this course for 10yrs. It's my summer course and loved seeing you enjoy it.
I remember watching that Ryder cup in Cyprus when on holiday. Was 14 years old and it really stirred up my already intense fascination with golf
Pete is just >>> Then all Golf YT. Can we please get a shot out to the editor who we have no clue who he is. Always the best views, cuts, graphics, and music. Who is the person doing that part of the business? Good on you mate.
The line graphic on the tee shots is a nice addition to the video
Favorite thing I've seen added to videos, more of that please!
Great job Peter……..great cinematic views & content as always . You & the team are raising the bar for You. Tube Golf . 💪⛳️
That had to have felt like one of the best 78s in the history of golf. What an intimidating layout. Well done Peter.
Why do folk feel the need to tell other folk what happened. Just say 'Well done , great round, Pete'
@aussie5941when I’m in an insufferable person competition and my opponent is an Australian
Thanks for taking us to a course I will likely never get to play. You are one of my golf tour sites...keep up the great work.
One of the best Peter. Some really good golf and a great man on the bags. Terrific production. Hats off or hats on, makes no difference. 🤠
Loved this one. Can’t be many visually tougher courses. Trust in swing, trust in caddie, keep your head. Felt it through the tube ! Well played
Great golf, and love the positive attitudes from you, the caddie, and Gabby! Every good shot she was letting you know - gotta love that in a playing partner!
The packageing of this video is MONEY! Love it so much and the vibe is unmatched. ❤ Only thing that did’nt have to be there was the RGB-glow(outline-effect). Less is more sometimes in details.
But that’s just my editor-eyes talking. Amazing job on the video on all aspects!
How many people can’t help but be green with jealousy watching him play a Bucket List course.
I hope you get to a million soon Peter Finch you deserve it. How it hasn’t happened yet is one of those great mysteries science will never solve.
It never fails when you're on the course and you're trying not to hit something.
The ball always goes towards what you're trying not to hit.
This game is so mental.
The more I watch your content, the more I love it. You are a really cool guy to share a round. Hope I could play a round with you one day!!!
Pete's content is always fantastic. He has the personality, the sense of humour and the intelligence to hold the audience's attention even when he's not on his A-Game... But when he is on his A-Game, he's incredible! Best driver/chipper on UA-cam. Now only if we could get his putter working ;-) Easily could/should have been 3 or 4 less round here if the lipouts and close misses had dropped.
Awesome putting. Annoyingly few dropped in, but they were from miles out and usually distance perfect. Your best mate Skyler pointing out where to aim and invariably getting it wrong amused me greatly.
I was waiting for a comment like this. Peter is a better putter than this showed and those green reads were awful. The caddie knows the course layout well but didn’t give the greens enough respect. Peter needed to stop listening and take a few of his own reads for judgement.
You serious...his putting ordinary at best
@@NotButterfly-1313 I thought it was pretty good considering the bad coaching. It’s also bloody world class compared to mine.
@@Sirdoolan He plays a ton of golf, and has a putter worth a stack of money.....he putted poorly simple as that.
@@NotButterfly-1313 sorry Nev, didn’t realise you felt so strongly about some other dudes opinion of some other dudes putting. Next time I’ll preface my opinion with "in my opinion" then maybe I can save you from being so offended.
Had the pleasure of playing the ocean course last month. One of my all time favorite courses. Nice work Pete, keep it up!
I asked the starter there, "I'm a 9, what tees should I play from?" He said, "Son, if you play from the whites and haven't had enough golf, you can come back to me and I'll send you out again for free." I had plenty of golf. Beautiful but cruel, that place.
I played here the year following the Ryder cup . This is one of the hardest courses I have ever played. Beautiful and breathtaking. Great job Peter. And great job by the caddy from my home state of Pennsylvania.🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇸
Great playing Pete you accomplished your gold. Skyler was completely amazing with you. He carried both bags and helped you both around this amazing golf course. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉to all for putting this amazing video out.
But for a few putts, you were on for a great score. Great video as always, Pete and the team. Thoroughly enjoyable watch.
That was so tough. Loved the course, loved the quality of the shots which brought out the course’s beauty perfectly. Great work Team as ever! Oh and some great golf Pete. That mental challenge of not folding on a tough course - so good 👏😊
Amazing! This is my all time favorite course, has been since we vacationed here years ago. Great seeing you golf it, Pete. Well done!
I was there Thursdays, Saturday and Sunday of Phil’s 2021 win, the course is no joke and makes me appreciate the level of these tour pros that much more
Class as always from Pete and the team! Great video, loved the vibes with Skylar!
Those drone shots are better than what you see on network TV. Fantastic playing for first time seeing The Ocean course. I would like to hear you review your stats after each of these rounds. Also if you could give a little more info on the course such as type of turf on the fairways and greens and maybe stimp readings of the greens. Never the less, these videos are spectacular to watch. Thanks for providing us with the opportunity to see such great courses and to see you navigate your way around them. Carry on mate.
the added level of the fly over's, the dialogue between you and Skylar. Fantastic! Dare i say move over Sheisly, Good Good, and all the rest of the youtube golf content creators. There is a new King in town!!
Great round by the easiest to watch You Tuber going. Love your sense of humor and the fly overs are awesome!
Sad to see his driving the first few holes . One of the best you tube drivers to watch ! Go Pete
Love this course and the others on the island. Well put together video. Keep up the amazing work Peter!
Great golf, Peter! Wow, that course is visually intimidating.
You recently brought us a great video on how to practice properly on the range. It was great!
How about one on putting drills?
You really played that course well. Got yourself in some really troublesome spots early doors, but no panic with your skills, mate.
Impressive!
Brilliant, really enjoyed that. Great recovery from a shaky start and Skyler played his part too.
Another fantastic video full of content that is both entertaining and cliff-hanging! Well done @PeterFinchGolf!
Great video quality! Peter is becoming my top 3 favorite UA-cam golfers to watch! Keep it up!
Thanks 👍 that’s nice of you to say
Pete’s my #1
Top 2 for sure
Great round
Great golfer
Great guy
Well done Mr Peter Finch
Was an absolute treat
You got the Pensilvania twang nailed, another aspect you need to nail, is your putting !!!!
But wow fantastic round of golf 👌🏼👌🏼
Your slowly creeping closer onto my ultimate 4 ball 😅😅
Cheers
Congrats on the 700k Pete and Team. The quality of the videos deserves the Million!!
Considering the course, the conditions and your score at the time, those last three holes might be the best three I've ever seen you put together.
Been there in a windy day and I know how hard this course can be.. that was a super super round Pete. Really love watching your videos
Petah, I love the format, so relaxing to watch golf at work, well done.
Great bag man in this video! I’ve played there twice, and had great caddies both times.
Wow that is one gnarly course! But Pete mad respect to the great golf and the filming and editing on this vid is on point 👏🏻
look forwards to watching always a nice way to wind down especially with the evenings drawing in and no change of golf after 4pm
I really enjoy how Pete makes sure to come away from all these courses with some logo memorabilia.
Such a stunning course. I must get over to the USA for a golf trip. Solina too of the list to play it, as I’ve seen it loads on here. Love your game Pete
the Carolinas have infinite golf, you could go for months and play a new solid course every single day if you wanted.
@ love that. Tbh it is a place that I’ve even considered moving too. A friend lived there for a year and loved it
Sweetest place on Earth (Hershey, PA). I graduated from Milton Hershey School in 1989 and subbed to Peter Finch the next day 😂
Love this course. Played there this summer from the back tees. Wind was blowing 25 with gusts to 35. I shot a 79. You can do it Pete!
The video quality and drone shots truly showcase this Pete Dye masterpiece . Great golf Pete! #Beast
Loving this video Pete.
When my son was young, I'd rent a house on Kiawah for a week, most summers. Typical with our close friends the Kings. I've played all the courses on the Island, but the Ocean Course is something special.
The OC is very tough, especially when the wind is up. It has the highest possible Slope (155) and it's rated well above par (77?).
23:02 best part of the vid xD I chuckled. Great content Pete !!
That tee shot on 17 !!!!!! Congratulations on 700k subscribers, well deserved.
Wow, I've played this course on WGT (World Golf Tour) for years. It's wonderful to see it played here with amazing camera work!
I don't know Gabby, another UA-camr? Would've been nice to have a collab, good for both channels 🤙⛳
Great round Pete, this was just after the Solina's golf week I am presuming. The BB LAB putter in the bag. Real great stuff again!!!
Everything is stellar as always, but I have to say the music choices especially in the back half were excellent - keep it up lads, great video!
That was the most stressful round of golf that I ever "didn't" play. What a blast to watch and, what a great way to end!!!!!
Congratulations on the 700k subscribers Pete, you deserve a lot more
Nice video. would have loved to see more interaction with the other golfer because the back and forth are the best part of your videos.
Great video, really enjoyed it. Well played Pete, also best caddie i’ve seen on UA-cam 😊
Every time I see this course I am reminded of the 1991 Ryder Cup they labeled the War by the Shore. The US won when Langer missed a shortish putt on 18. But what many might remember was that Mark Calcavecchia fell apart so bad in his singles match on Sunday (he literally shanked his iron shot on 17 into the lake) that he literally broke down emotionally in the locker room after his match. Even when given the news that the US had won he was described by his teammates as inconsolable. I think it was that Ryder Cup that gave the course its brutal reputation.
I’m exhausted. And I was just watching! Great content Mr. Finch.
I wish I would’ve started watching Peter earlier. The Solina videos got me watching his vids. Great stuff Peter!
congratulations to the team for the great iimprovement on cinematography. And the audio is great, considering the elements!
Kind Sir, I really enjoy your channel. Prayers and Blessings from Texas, USA.
Loving the drone shots! Well done! First class as always, Pete!
Content idea for you Pete. What about playing the course virtually at TopGolf and then trying to beat that score in real life when playing some of these epic courses.
Would be a nice two parter and maybe helpful to scope the course in advance.
Congratz to 700k m8! Been with you from the start 🍻
What a beautiful course. I’m a new subscriber and really enjoyed this video. Great shooting and keep up the good work.
Kiawah Island Golf Resort, Ocean Course.
Kiawah Island, South Carolina, USA.
Pete Dye and Alice Dye, 1991.
Black Tees: 7,876 yards (7,202 m)
Par : 72
Stroke Rating : 79.1
Slope Rating : 155
Grass : Paspalum
I’m off 0.8 and shot 89 there a few weeks back. Brutal when the wind gets going and you lose your game!
Yes Peter is better than scratch most likely +1- + 3- but a 6 handicap on putting :)
Oh Pete, what could have been. You are such a good player, believe in yourself man, rip it, chip it, putt it! You got it👊
That is the greatest way to tell people to subscribe :) at 9:48
I have played out there a few times. It is visually intimidating and punishing if you are not hitting the ball well, but if you can consistently hit the spots the caddy gives you, it is possible to shoot a good score.
The hardest part about the course for me was the walk in "real feel 100 degrees". Gained enormous respect for the pro's that do it all week long.
Absolutely great stuff! Phenomenal round!!!
Beautifully shot, very well played. That was fun to watch.
Was lucky enough to play the Ocean course last March, man was it a blast. Really is a beautiful course. Birdied the first hole, that was my only of the day. Tough but fun place
Why do some of you insist on cracking on Rick Shiels? First, the two are friends; second, all Rick has ever done is be helpful and encouraging of Pete, his channel, and anyone in the UA-cam golf world; third, Pete is a terrific golfer (acknowledged by Rick, btw) and unique to himself. I like his channel however he wants to do it. Don't chase, Pete. You have over 700K subscribers and growing. You do you.
Love the caddy, straight talking, proper leading. Amazing video Pete, what an experience.
The music on 16 was awesome!😂😅😂👏👏👏
Loving the drone tracing ❤❤❤
