He never liked to tackle issues head on and it was always someone else that was the problem, never him), and while my mom, brother, and I were having dinner this came on the radio and she lost it. To this day I have never seen her cry that hard like she did when this song came on. Lady Antebellum's need you now tops this though in terms of traumatic experiences. That was the song that played on the SUV's radio when child protective services came to get my brother and I the month prior. Aaaaah, my high school years were a total cluster-f.

I think God sent my only child, a son, so I would get a glimpse of a man's heart and perspective. No longer a spoiled pretty woman because I learned what unconditional love is. I think twice before showing lack of appreciation for the best a man can provide. Just trying to sow good seeds. Let's treat others the way we want our beloved children to be treated and appreciated.
