I could see it in your face... that is the same look and the same feeling I get when I stay in Venice, FL (we live in mid-Missouri.) I am often there with my parents and one or more children for a short vacation. It has the most refreshing effect on me. Everything is just different, peaceful, relaxed. Good food, beautiful landscape, swimming, biking (which happens to be my FAVORITE thing to do) and the beaches/water/palms are always breathtaking. I always think I can somehow bring a little of that feeling back with me. That maybe I really can feel free to exercise, eat well, enjoy the beauty & peacefulness at home, but it doesn't happen. I am curious and genuinely interested to see and hear how you might incorporate all the "goodness" of an oasis into your daily life. I support you & encourage you to do it.💛
Those words are so kind. I've been finding peace when I just get outside to a trail, creek or wooded area with my boys. No agenda, just discovering, sitting and being. Will be doing more of it!!!
I hope this isn't too weird, but thank you for not being afraid to show your tummy postpartum! I feel like mine should look like it did before pregnancy (even after 4 sweet babies have grown in there) and to see other beautiful, healthy, wise moms comfortable in their body is an encouragement to me♥️
Ah these words are so kind thank you. I'm forever scarred and it took a bit for me to get used to it. But it's a healthy and welcomed change. The Lord has graciously given me confidence and acceptance with my body. I'm so glad it encouraged you--not weird at all that you said something
I've never heard of Santa Rosa FL but WOW it's so pretty. It's hard to replace the sand/beach feeling you get when you aren't there. But being outside always helps me, or I should say being in nature when it's really quiet in my surroundings.

I use to go just by Sandy (my middle name) easier for the ears and because I was always teased by my traditional name. But as I am getting older, I have grown an appreciation for my culture and birth name. I am glad you’re channel exists! ❤️

I’m from St. Louis and we just got back from Florida too, it was so nice. We love Creve couer lake if you haven’t been there you should try it. It’s not Florida, but it’s beautiful.
That video was so relaxing. I am headed to an Oceanside town in Nova Scotia for 25 days (yes, I have them counted!). First week and last four days on my own. After a winter of covid and kitchen renovations I am sooo ready. Thanks for some tips on how to make that happen!! And how to make the most of my time! Gonna be fillin’ my cup!!

I do not have kids ☹️ and I am 50 already so I have to live with that and learn to be happy without kids. Working on that! The way I recharge is going to the farm, reading, going to bed early, no technology and a daytime nap 😴 oh and lighting a fire (what we call a braai in South Africa)
So needed this today Margaret 💗 I'm totally off social and only go on youtube periodically for a few uplifting and inspiring ladies like you 🙌 Just a few days ago...on my birthday...I reached out to my inlaws to ask if my son & I could come and stay for a bit to allow space at home for my husband to just be and then be able have more time for me to just be, have some support, company and give them more time with their only grandson. It was such a reach out of my comfort zone to ask...as I too often put my needs lower on the list than my family. I opened up and shared why I felt this may be good for everyone as I put weeks if not months into thinking about it. Only to not be embraced. To be questioned and abruptly shut down...truly felt hurt that they didn't understand or felt like didn't even try. I would give anything to go visit my mom but it's been almost 3 years now since she passed unexpectedly and that pain is still a wound on my heart. I am trying to find ways in my days & weeks ahead to say "I need this time to..." whatever it may be. It's a slow and challenging process but honestly seeing this video was validating and really touched my heart. Thank you 🙏❤

I recommend a kind of meditation called tapping or EFT , there free videos on UA-cam, amazing apps, books. it is mostly free and they are life-changing. specially if you are going through a tough time, a crisis, or have deep stuff to heal.
