I live in Canada and like I so badly want the x class and the v class to come in Canada. Having a good amount of Money, I really want all the cars in my garage being Mercedes because I am so use to the system. Please, its engineered so beautifully, please bring it to North America
MBUX system was originally designed for use in passenger compact cars so the system in V-Class will be a different one. We’re sure other features which V-Class is equipped with will captivate you enough. 😉
When there is no opportunity that the V-Class is equipped with the MBUX (the Sprinter also got it, so I really do not understand why), why you don't go up to at least 5.5? Because the C-Class Facelift got it!

Hi David, we're sorry we were not sure about this information before. We can now confirm that the V-Class 2019 will be available in the European market from March onward! 😊 We recommend keeping in touch with your local dealership so you can register your interest already.
Carl Johnson the van doug drove was the matris ( which is based on the v class but it's more basic) it's also around $34k ( vs €35k or $40k for the basic v class in Europe) Mercedes hasn't introduced a v class in the US because of a 25% tax dating from the 60's on light trucks built outside the us , to avoid this mercedes fully assembles the van in germany , disassembles it , ships it to the US where it's put there together somewhere in south Carolina The reason why they don't fully built the vans there is because mercedes tried doing that in the 90's and had quality and reliability issues And the reason why they don't built the v class in SC is because the v class is a very complicated vehicle and contains more parts That being said.. in 2015 they started building a $500m factory where vans could be fully built there and they may introduce the v class in the US soon
If that vehicle would only be avaialble with some gasoline engines, MBUX and S-class like interior, I would be already placing an order for it. However - after waiting for a while for the facelifted version - I am highly disappointed. A new bumper and a new radiator grille? This is amusing...
Interesting marketing 'positioning' :-) '...one of the youngest buyer groups at Mercedes-Benz...' and you sell radio with CD built into dash in 2019 :-) Apologies to people reading my comments on Autogefuel video, repeating here... Seems that 'young buyers' get radio with CD and other MB buyers including Sprint truck drivers get MBUX. Amazing. In addition - if anyone from MB 'ergonomics' team is reading these posts... Somehow accepting (!) that in this day of age you only have classical instruments on offer - don't know if you've noticed absolutely terrible light glare caused by transparent bent plastic over speedo / rev counter. I had the van out for test drive and it is really distracting. Don't know if you plan to fix that before offering completely new model (hopefully built on MBUX platform...), or it's there to stay. Thanks
Yes, you're right. We should keep strip mining for lithium, so that people can pretend their electric ran (produced mostly from burning fuel) cars make any difference.
