My life is in pieces with a heart broken by the ones i love. I can't feel God anymore. I was in the hospital but it didn't make me feel better. Where is my hope? Will there ever be joy again or should my life jus be over.
melanie Bishop I have felt, feel the same way. Will things ever be ok? I almost constantly feel like giving up. It is tough. Painful. and crazy hard to feel like that. And it is OK. We cannot control our feelings... Two things keep me going even though I do not want to. The fact that Jesus promises to come back to take His children home (whoever chooses to be His child) and will make everything alright. Better then alright. There will be no more death sorrow, crying or pain. (read 1st few verses from Rev 21) and the second is that Jesus suffered so much for me and loves me so much (the bible says so!) and I know that he does not want me to kill myself. I know there is really nothing I can say to make it better. but I hope maybe this would encourage you. One princess sister to another.

I'm so sorry people on earth have hurt you so much, May Jesus change their hearts. But, we need to constantly come back to Him in deep intentional seeking, and He meets us. Faith, and Truth need to go before feelings. We can choose to stay in those emotions, or cry our to God for strength to see otherwise, while picking ourselves up by the scruff of the neck and say, NO, I will not let the enemy win. I will rise above the waves with my Saviour who loved and chose me forever.
