Be careful being sponsored by these online health companies. They've found a good few of them don't even have a degree yet, they're basically using the user as a guinea pig to learn how to treat mental health. Friend of mine ended up with one of those and the student was so inept she actually made the situation worse. Bottom line just buck up and go to a real psychiatrist, I have an almost paralyzing fear of people but I still make myself go because I know I'm actually getting treated by someone with experience.

I really admire and respect the fact you’ll advertise for a company that most likely has some of your audience rankled.
I’m with you, 100%, women NEED access to birth control but obviously people do not agree and given the family friendly nature of your channel I was surprised you did this promotion.
Surprised and pleased. It says a lot about your character, you never engage in controversial subject matter, and addressing it shows that you acknowledge your influence and responsibility.
In my social sphere this is not a big issue, it’s a practical life “thing” but I’ve heard some really vitriolic comments in regard to birth control.

Love the idea of dry powder milk being used in cheese, makes it way more accessible than all the recipes calling for completely unpasteurised raw milk. I don't think UHT milk is ever useable to make cheese. But you are right, being able to make cheese with milk powder really helps with accessibility. In the cheese making group that I am part of, there are many people in different parts of the world who don't have access to certain types of milk who can then just milk powder to try different cheeses. I'm still a novice cheesemaker ( I've only tried about a dozen varieties) and I haven't tried any with milk powder but one day I'd like to do a side by side comparison.

Nothing less than love and support for you Emmy! I love your channel since 2016, and now I'm married and my husband watches your videos with me. I was an au pair in the US, and in Brazil you don't need prescription to buy birth control. I was very confused and a little bit scared when I started dated my husband because I struggled to understand the whole birth control thing in America. I stand by you for speaking up on this issue even being controversial. And thank you for the zombie apocalypse cheese you have us today!

    2 eggs
    1 tsp salt
    1) Mix together water and milk powder
    2) whisk eggs with salt
    3) combine

It bothers me to no end that she has to apologize (in a matter of speaking) for taking sponsorship from a company that provides birth control. It's 2019 FFS. Birth control is like antibiotics or blood thinners or whatever -- it's freaking MEDICINE. Nothing more, nothing less. And people need access to their medicine. Anyone who is offended by this needs to crawl out of the Dark Ages. You do you, Emmy.

So strange how people will see birth control as something controversial...it's healthcare!

    • @DBradshaw25

It's controversial to a specific group in this country because it's been politicized.

    • @susanlbk

I believe it's controversial due to the fact that for the majority of users,it's used to stop a life. I always thought it prevented one from getting pregnant, which is a heck of a lot better than the alternatives that some use.

So first of all, big fan, love the video. :p lol secondly, thank you so much for sharing this sponsor. I have a condition that makes my monthly time absolutely miserable and irregular. Birth control has helped me with this for years but money is definitely a difficulty. I've been going back and forth on how on earth im gonna get back on my birth control as I'm uninsured and totally broke. This is so helpful and you've saved me from being without medicine that I honestly feel I need. Do I sound dramatic? Yes, absolutely lol. Cant wait to check them out. Anyway, thanks Emmy!

Thank you for your time and showing us that if ever a time we can’t purchase milk we do have the chance to still make cheese when in those situations I think anyone would be happy and grateful to enjoy cheese

@@cpw5071 and most men don't want to wear a condom and that is irresponsible. Besides, what does being circumcised have to do with a woman being able to choose birth control and be responsible?? You get over it.

maggiegnzlz I guess they’re saying that men don’t choose to be circumcised?

    • @maggiegnzlz
      @maggiegnzlz 4 роки тому +20

@@kikib.2344 I would agree to that because most of the time boys are circumcised because their parents choose it at birth. But it still has nothing to do with a woman taking control of her.body & preventing a pregnancy she is not ready for. Thank you for your insight.
