Sometimes instead of a needle I use a needle threader to weave in ends

Super Helpful! I'm getting into microcrochet and this answered a lot of questions that I had.
For anyone in the US who prefers to shop at a physical store, I have not found Tulip hooks in any of my local Joanns/Michaels, but you can get Clover hooks down to size 0.60, as well as Finger Protectors in the form of Silicone Heat Protectors for hot glue or Rubber Thimbles for sewing.
I also find that vintage inline steel hooks from Susan Bates tend to work better for me and have done a lot of research into vintage crochet hooks lol. If you're interested there are some great online sellers on Etsy of vintage hooks, but you can also find them at art-specific thrift stores every so often for cheap. Just something to experiment with! :)

Thanks for the info! Going thrift store/vintage is a great way to save on your tools and materials. I haven't had any luck finding hooks smaller than 1mm in my local thrift stores, but I love hunting for vintage threads, especially silk ones.
You could also check your grandmother's cookie tin (IYKYK).

I love watching you crochet and seeing what comes through your hands. Thank you for these videos! Quick question, where did you get the oval box shown? It isn't on you Amazon page. I've been using an eyeglass case but the size is limiting and I'm looking for that "just right" box.

It's an UTBJUDA lunchbox from Ikea. It's the perfect size to fit a lot of thread and all the tools I need to crochet on the go.

QUESTION: Have you tried micro mosaic crochet projects?
    ✌️💜🧶

I'm glad it was helpful! Yes, I've tied micro mosaic crochet, it's pretty fun to make but really time consuming.

Ok hold the phone😮 the main tool needed in any crochet project is the yarn...Thread?? & dare I say patterns
There was zero mention of what type/types are needed and our preferred 😱
Lol I was totally ready to jump in and giver a go 🤔 but now I'm a lil frustrated in the fact I only have partial info.
I'm really happy to hear how much you enjoy it.

Tool [noun]: any instrument or simple piece of equipment held in the hand and used to do a particular kind of work.
That said, thread and how to choose the right hook for it is a big topic that deserves its own video (which I'm already working on). If you’d like to give micro crocheting a try, all of my tutorials and patterns specify what hook size and thread was used.
