A Nickelodeon ID Compilation (from Fred Seibert) (1984-1992)

- Found this piece of gold on his official Vimeo account. This one I consider really special (to me atleast) for a few reasons. One of them being that it features some Nick IDs that aren’t too common or even on UA-cam. One example of one is a bike ID. It’s also in high quality, which makes it even better.
Assumptions: These were made somewhere between 1983-1992 according to the Fred/Alan title card, hypothetically meaning that the splat was in possible development in 1983. However, this is just me speculating and not entirely true fact, so please take my hypothesis with a grain of salt.
(Edit: Didn't think this video would blow up eventually for some reason heh)
I hope you guys enjoy :)

Nearly all of these bumpers debuted in October 1984, with the possible exception of the Doo-Wop ones,. Those might have debuted in early-1985, unless a recording from 1984 with any of those surfaces to prove me and the internet otherwise.

The clay bumper at 0:26 was the first one made for the orange logo.
How do you know?
@@yapaaplBecause this was made before the idea of putting the logo into the objects especially the splat.

Who animated the tv beast bumper we used that!
Does this compilation feature every single one from this era?
These are not from 1983 because let me tell you why, I know this exact story. Right before the splat, Nickelodeon had a silver ball as their logo. The silver ball was used between 1980-84, which means the silver ball was discontinued in September 1984 and the splat would debut inn October of the same year. So, these are actually from 1984.
some of these could have been produced in late 1983 but im not sure. they definitely began work on this branding in 1983 so it could then be finished in 1984
Nick nick nick Nickelodeon
Very fucking Nickelodeon.
0:24 not the goofy nick💀

You would think there wouldn't be as many interlacing issues considering it came from the original creators.

hey. why was that cereal one muted? copyrights?
Could be.
It is because rhe cereal one is unfinished.
I remember when it had music and sound.
I think it's unfinished.
@@ETYMF2003your definitely right as if is was copyrighted, you wouldn’t hear the static
Who animated the Sleeping Boy bumper?
Fred/Alan
Fred/Alan didn’t make that bumper. All those bumpers (including the Sleeping Boy bumper) were animated by companies and cartoonists.
Who worked for Fred/Alan Inc
IDK for this one.
@@matthewthescienceguy7627 No I was just saying, however I’ll look into to who exactly made it tho, I just know they worked with Fred/Alan for these. I also a appreciate your feedback
The guy who helped work on chalkzone did these?!
Yes.
@@jacobwiggle3681 omg! I love that guy! Because chalkzone is my favorite nicktoon! (Don't hate me because I prefer chalkzone than SpongeBob, it's my opinion)
It is now Sponge Bob's domain
