The Pololu 3pi Robot is a complete, high performance, mobile platform. It excels at line following and maze solving.
3pi Robot Features:
- ATmega328 microcontroller programmable in C and C++ on Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems (Mac support is limited)
- Works with several free programming environments such as AVR Studio, WinAVR, and Arduino-0011
- Five infrared reflectance line sensors
- A unique power system that runs the motors at a constant 9.25 Volts even as batteries run down
- Top speed of 1 m/s
- Pololu AVR C/C++ Library to interface with the various components of the 3pi:

hi, can the 3pi run on a white line and a black background by changing the software?
This bot is literally a speed monster when it comes down to line following or maze solving :O
Great project!! I would like to know what kind of H-bridge did you use in the 3pi robot.
thanks
Is this similar to the ikea automation ?
Love this project
We need to add a IR sensor to detect an obstacle in the way, and also a servo that will move a kind of arm in a rotation of 180 degrees to remove the obstacle. I understand that we need to acquire the "Pololu m3pi Robot with mbed Socket", however, we would like to know if it's possible to add the above mentioned functionality before we go ahead and get it.
Also, is there any guide on how to connect the sensor and the servo to the m3pi?
I'll appreciate your feedback. Tks.
hey for the robot that you used in this video, can i ask which gear motor did you used and the motor's gear ratio?
I just bought one of these, is that just that electrical tape I would have to use?
is this robot come with the line following code when i buy it?.. or must add the code manually? more like the robot is blank coded?.. thx
i want to buy it and im afraid i cant make the line following code.. thx.. reply fastly pls
this can be converted into a zumo without much experience ?
