It's my sanctuary, I NEED that alone time, love dim lighting, dark gothic rich colour interiors. Scorpio 4th house. I didn't fight a lot with my mom but I did witness fighting around me. My mom was more secretive. Not in a bad way but she did show emotion like other mom's. Wow! My dad had Moon conjunct Ascendant in Scorpio and he always gave off the vibe of power. He was greatly respected by many people. Sometimes his boss seemed more like his employee. That's just how much authority he embodied. When people were sick or in crisis they would often call on him. HIs presence and energy was very healing and soothing for them, myself included. He intuitively knew what to do and say to help the situation. Even his own passing was extremely quick and transformative. He was here and then he was gone. What an amazing energy to be given by the universe!!

I have a Scorpio Ascendant, conjunct North Node with Jupiter and Pluto in 1st House Scorpio. And I always get mixed reactions when people meet me. Most of the time, people compliment me of how I look( especially my skin and eyes) or how calming my presence can be. Some see me as someone who is strict and someone who has an intense commanding presence (maybe because my Venus Leo is conjunct my midheaven and square my Asc and North Node, opposition to my Mars Taurus) but it is not as intense during when I was in my elementary and High School years, people always see me as intimidating, snobby, unapproachable. I am always interested in the occult and the reason why I got into astrology is to know myself at a deeper, spiritual level and to know the personality of others, not the predictive side of astrology. Currently, I keep exploring astrology and the occult, maybe that's the expansive side of Scorpio Jupiter and intensity of Scorpio Pluto.

I forgot to mention my second house in scorpio is my moon placement. I think this would amplify the energy of everything you said. I always was a bit confused on my moon in second as most info says you need money and possessions to feel secure and I don't exactly feel like that fits with scorpio moon too well. Everything you said about the childhood is correct I am surprised and learned something new about scorpio second house. I don't remember my parents telling me to look both ways kinda thing but

Scorpio ascendant here with mars, north node, sun and Pluto all in first house. That disregarding part is so true it hurts. I’m like if you can’t stand me why are you so interested in my life. People pick on me, belittle me. I like to think that these people are truly sad from within because if you have got everything right and together I don’t see any point in disrespecting others.
