Well James I just watched my Scorpio Rising video and now I’m hooked on you! I’ve been an astrology fanatic since I was 8 yo. My Mother was Scorpio Sun, and Scorpio Rising. She was emotionally absent ( single Mom of two in the 50s) as you said but I found her to be so smart and attractive. One Sunday she handed me the newspaper and pointed to a Scorpio horoscope and said, “Here read this paragraph to me!” I was nervous as you didn’t want to make a mistake around her as she always seemed in serious thought. When I finished reading it to her she began dancing around the kitchen, and smiling. I thought to myself, what MAGIC is this? I asked her what have I read? She
said it’s Astrology. Fascinated at its affect on her I told her I was going to study it. Oh yes, please do, and tell me all about myself. My little 8 yo brain accepted the challenge and here I am 63 years later. Mom is gone now! Astrology has been my only constant companion.

I don’t understand how Scorpio risings are magnetic when majority of the time we’re mostly hated than loved.
My interpretation of being magnetic is people are drawn to you. People want to be around you. People are either intimidated or somehow we bring out their insecurities or something they haven’t resolved in their life and we bring that to the surface. And that’s why they act with such aggression towards us. So how is that magnetic? Every time someone does a video or I read about Scorpio risings, they talk about how magnetic we are. But, that’s not how I feel. I feel the hatred amongst people. When we have an opinion in a conversation. Our opinions don’t matter. And if we do have an opinion, it’s best to keep it to yourself because you’re seen as the bad guy. If Scorpio risings we’re so magnetic. We would be so good with people. But we rather hide behind the walls and be private. And speaking of magnetic, they are only interested in the beginning and want to know more about us. But that’s something that doesn’t last, because they start hating you after awhile and then as if you’re a nobody after that. We’re always seen as the villain. It does get tiring. And new people come in to your life and then it’s the same process all over again. WERE SO MISUNDERSTOOD!!
As much as I want to like this rising sign. It’s hard. People want to see consistency and as a Scorpio rising it’s hard to stay consistent as we are always evolving. There’s pros and cons with that. Yes, we’re always growing as a person, but not everybody can keep up with that. It’s almost as if we’re seen as fake to people because we can’t stay consistent to how we are. We’re always a different person every time.
I agree, this is definitely one of the woes of being a Scorpio Rising! By magnetic I mean the good and the bad! Analogous to a warm campfire, all who need warmth and shelter are attracted to it! Good People, Bad People, Animals, and sick people all need, and are attracted to a warm campfire and the campfire does not discriminate! This is the same energy with Scorpio Rising! The magnetism that your energy offers will be this for people who need to be understood, people who need healing, people who themselves are in the midst of great transformation in their lives to name a few - and to those who want to stick around with you forever (should you give them the chance). It will then be up to you to be discerning as to who deserves your "campfire"! Those who want to use you, be aware of that. But those who are ok with your choppy waters and ever -changing evolvement, allow them to stick by your side! So to conclude, by magnetism i do mean attention. And by attention I mean the good and the bad as the energy of magnetism itself is not able to discriminate. @@aaliyah2089 I’m married. What I said might sound ambiguous, but if you read in between the lines or are in fact a Scorpio rising, you’ll understand what I said or what was replied in depth. It’s merely not only about getting attention from suitors or the opposite sex. It’s how Scorpio risings are perceived out in the public in general.
I have a Scorpio Stellium, so I feel every situation with intensity. I have a strong intuition with people’s intention towards me and I ponder ONLY on certain situations I feel that needs changing so it won’t happen again. And I can easily cut off people from my life without feeling bad, who I feel that don’t deserve my time and energy!
The old saying goes, that “respect” is earned. But I feel like we get to decide that for ourselves who we should respect. It’s more of the “trust”. Trust is earned in my book!

Scorpio Rising here. I find mostly everything you said to be extremely accurate. Some things that stood out the most for me was my father played both roles as mother and father. My mom was a drug addict. Another thing that really interests me was the 4th house Aquarius. I am a very homey person like it's my sanctuary because I have such a strong cancer influence in my life, but I am extremely detached from my family I grew up with however I'm very attached to my family that I created. My husband and children if that makes sense. The 7th house being in a taurus makes total sense to me as well because my husband and the only man I've ever truly loved is a Taurus sun Scorpio moon. I am constantly evolving and changing. I love to talk in the bedroom. it's the number 1 thing that really turns me on lol, but I have to be comfortable enough to open up in that way and I do not open up easily. I was reading that a lot of Scorpio risings deal with sexual abuse and trauma as children because they start being sexualized at a very young age that is also my personal experience. Thanks for the video I really enjoyed it and learned a lot as well.

Let me just say as a Pisces sun I do like being home but it’s not because I am antisocial it’s because I need that time to get away as a Pisces we are like sponges we suck in emotional garbage wether good or bad and sometimes someone’s bad energy feels like our own and when I am alone I can hear myself and not all the emotions surrounding me and choking me because that is how it feels. So really I love people I just sometimes get around one bad seed and that can ruin my entire day like if someone is depressed I can feel their energy not always physically but it does affect a Pisces in ways you can’t understand.

I don't like attention. Sometimes I'll wear a little concealer and some light blush and I will get comments from everyone telling me I like bright and awake and that my skin looks nice. I mean its obvious that im wearing makeup....any girl can tell when someone is wearing makeup.. even if done natural. It's overwhelming when everyone has to comment on it though, which is why I usually don't fix myself up as much and try to remain invisible.

Hi, you must be using Placidus House System (which is ok, and is still accurate) so it's going to look different on your end. I used Whole Sign House for this interpretation which usually hits for all Scorpio Risings! 🫶🏽✨

What will be the physical appearance of a scorpio rising? Can we find that out by ascendant signs?
Yes we can! With Scorpio Rising it doesnt give the person a distinct "look" but rather an energy! You wont be seen, you will be FELT, unlike other ascendants. You may have an energy about you that is intense and magnetic to others without trying! It will be the times that you are minding your own business and NOT wanting attention, that you get it the most! You may also have a penetrating stare in your eye. I feel dumb because i cannot follow this while looking at my natal chart. I am an Aries Sun, Taurus Moon, Scorpio Rising - but there is nothing in my chart about, for example, my third house being in Capricorn? And then from there none of the others line up either. What am I missing?
This sounds like you could be looking at a "Placidus" house system. Usually chart generators will display this type of chart unless you choose "Whole Sign House" in the settings which will line everything up for you so that you can follow along! Hope this helps! Go to settings and switch it from Placidus to Whole Sign Houses. Astro.com is the best site for this! 🫶🏽✨
I'm looking at my chart as a scorpio rising but the houses and zodiac signs are not lining up the way you're speaking of them. Some do, but not all...how come? 😅
Hello, usually the default settings in any birth chart generator will present itself as a "Placidus" configuration, meaning that some houses will overlap and intermix themselves according to the uniqueness that is you! But if you go to settings and select "Whole Sign" this will give you more of a generic presentation of your chart and will match up to what I am describing here in this video!
