I see it like shaking a snow bulb, "denser, faster notes, swirlier", they all kinda do that when Jonny do that gesture
usually means something crescendo or getting louder or using/pushing more air but in this specific scenario it seems like they’re giving that gesture to individual players to have them stand out more in the mix
