My husband and I will be there in April to get a feel for the town and hopefully fall in love with in so we can retire there in the winter in a couple of years. Im so glad I found your channel :)
Hi hope you fall in love too! For a small town there is plenty to do . Thank you for watching and for taking the time to leave a comment. Have a great day!
I bought a second home in Havasu. I love it already. Definitely enjoyed your video. Looking forward to being there one trip for your “desert storm”
Awesome! Thank you! Congratulations on your new home. The best place to get calendar of events is the www.golakehavasu.com .
Thanks for the video . Lived in Havasu for 2 years moving from San Diego after my divorce . Moved to Oregon year ago for a good job, missing Havasu every day. Just a great town , close to Vegas , PS, LA, SD. Great spot to be. Hopefully go back someday
Hi Cesar, thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Have an awesome day!
@@LivinginLakeHavasu definitely going back and eventually buying something. $$$ went crazy since I left year ago. I was finance mgr at Bradley Chevrolet. All the best . Cheers 🥂
Wife and I visited for the first time, we had a great time even in the July heat! Lots of fun places to explore all around Havasu! We look forward to coming back, probably in a cooler month next time!
Hi and thanks for watching! Yes you definitely need to come back with the it is cooler!
Good work! I lived there in 2012-13. Honestly, I miss it sometimes. Yes, the summers are hot, but I love hiking in that part of the Mohave Desert and swimming in the lake. I never felt bored. Also, Las Vegas and Phoenix aren't that far away if you want to get out of town for a weekend.
I totally agree! Thank you for watching. Who knows maybe one day you will come back. :)
Thanks for the information
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
I just went to Lake Havasu and experienced a very pleasant time. The Island has a beautiful sunset view with a lighthouse and a dry tropical evening breeze in early April. Across the London bridge there is a pleasant park on the Island with a lot of boats in the canal with a couple beaches you can swim in. At the far side of the island where the sunset lighthouse is a place downhill for fishing and views. This city is no extremely huge but has decent motels, great restaurants and a good Safeway store to shop. This city is like a mini Cabo San Lucas that you can spend a weekend up to a week to enjoy relaxation on the Island and the lake. Even though the temperature 🌡️ is as hot as Aswan Egypt, the amenities and the community appears to make this a pleasure to enjoy.
Hi Paul, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I am so glad you had a nice time. If you ever come back, be sure to stop by my office and say hi!
@@LivinginLakeHavasu When I am living in Tucson AZ in the next year or two I will come by to say hello.
@@paulfishman4273 See you then!
Havasu is gonna be great, might need to get a GPS when navigating the streets lol but anyways I'm not really a fan of the cold winter weather so winters there will be to my advantage, the community is great I have a best friend who lives in havasu and he says that the people there are nice and caring
Hi, yes our community is very nice and caring. We are just the right size where we are still neighborly, but not all up in your business. lol Thank you for visiting my channel!
Traffic during snowbird season definitely a not like. People need to stay in the right lane in their slower moving vehicles, trucks, and rvs until they are ready to turn. Not cool to drive 20 mph under the speed limit in the left lanes for the length of 95. If AZ or Havasu has them, Police need to enforce the left lane laws.
That is one thing that is not awesome about Havasu. Thank you for watching and for commenting.
So glad I found your channel. Among the 54000, how many are FT? How many snowbirds? thank you....heading there for a month tomorrow!
Hi! I am glad you found it also! That is a great question. We have have 4 types of home owners. Full time home owners, full time rental property, winter home owners and summer home owners. I do not know the exact percentage, but I will do some research for you. If I were to guess I would say about 75% yo 80% are full time residence.
If you decide to look at homes to purchase while you are in town, give me call. I am happy to help! 😀
Watched, already subscribed.
That is great, thanks
Hi Carol!
Love your Videos!
Re: Making the jump
What about Vehicle Exhaust noise?
Here's what I am talking about;
I'm in Washington State and seems since we stopped emission testing... equates to, No mufflers!
Mustangs, Diesel Trucks, WRXs, STIs... the first thing to come off is the Mufflers. Multiple Back firing is the popular thing this year.
My favorite Over size injectors to make Diesel Trucks smoke, NOT!
Well, you can imagine
However, I'm totally down with 150 mph+ loud V8 Boats only!
Thank you! I appreciate you watching
We do have our share of "no muffler " loud vehicles, but I have not noticed it too much.
@@LivinginLakeHavasu Thank you!
Let Me add if a Boat does not go over 100 mph, it has NO right to be allowed to be loud, right?!!
@@exhilarationaccelerationpo9082Agreed! LOL
You can legally drive a side-by-side ATV on the street 👍👍
Yes you can, they do need to have a license plate and have all the safety requirements for driving on a paved road.
I've never seen you in person before and I know almost everybody in this town.
hmmm. I am here! You are welcome to stop by my office and say hi!
Do you know me? I've lived here's for 4 years.

Thanks, I am glad you like it.
Do people rent RV spaces short term, not RV parks? Simulator to air BNB? I’m a movie medic and theirs a production for a month in your area.
Hi Trish, I have heard of people renting out a space near or on their property for RV’s (not in RV parks). But not many. I don’t know if any right now. I can ask around for you!
The next lake (reservoir) to start drying up…just wait and see. Then be shocked 😮 hahahaha
Hi Woody, thanks for watching. I suppose it could eventually happen. I sure do hope not and it would not be funny at all.
How are the medical facilities, specialist etc.
Hi! I will be honest, I have heard both good and bad reviews about our hospital. We do not have many specialists yet, but I know the hospital does try. I personally have not have any bad experience with the hospital, and I gave birth to my son and a few out patient surgeries there. I am not sure how helpful that was. Thanks for watching!
What about snakes? Do you see them in that area?
Hi! Thanks for watching! Yes we live in the desert and we do get snakes in town sometimes. Mostly they stay away for people but if you are walking on trails or hiking you may come across them. I did a video on creepy crawlers you will find in Havasu. Be sure to check it out.
You might think about turning down that background music next time. It's about the same level you're talking and instead of relaxing or creating an atmosphere it's just annoying. thanks for the info though.
Rentals
Hi Thanks for watching. Rentals? Are you asking if I am a property manager? Yes I am! Are you asking if there are opportunities to purchase rental property? Yes there are! Feel free to email me directly with more specific questions.

I thought it would be great living here but after being here for 3 years it’s not so hot.the snowbirds come in the cooler months and pack out the town ,traffic is horrible.during the warmer months there are so many people coming from California with their boats and pack out the lake, the water gets so rough with waves you can hardly drive your boat around and pwc’s forget it.just remember that this.lady is a real estate person trying to sell houses.
Thank you for taking the time to watch and for making a comment. You are not wrong about the traffic and the visitors. I am sure many towns and cities have the same issue. Lake Havasu is not going to be for everyone. If you decide Lake Havasu is not for you and you wish to move and find your self needing a real estate agent, I hope you think of me. Have a fabulous day!
