SKYHILL Exploit - Master Survivalist (Hardcore difficulty) in Under 10m!

I discovered this bug accidentally while farming notes and deaths, for my final 2 in game trophies; I had already completed my Hardcore run before this discovery.
Basically when youre on a floor with a monster, click the floor up, and then immediately to the floor underneath. This will not work if you get hit while entering the staircase, resulting in trying again. If you keep getting hit, use Lucky perk!

I can't seem to get this glitch to work. Does it only work with controllers?

Not sure tbh, this was done on console, so yes - I was using a controller.
Sometimes it doesnt work if the reaction isn't fast enough. You would need to click the top floor and then the floor underneath within a split second of eachother. On top of that, if you take dmg from an enemey when going to a new floor, it wont work either, and you will need to go back to the previous floor, and try again
