"Ain’t no place for a Hero” is a campaign set in the World of Duranarki, The Continent of Men, a homebrew setting.
The "Ain’t no place for a Hero" campaign started in July 2020 as an online campaign. The first recording of this campaign and subsequent posting to UA-cam, took place in December 2022 - January 2023, along with the “Twilight of the Old Order” party.
For an overview of the characters from the two parties check out the following link www.facebook.c....
If you are interested in reading more about both the campaign and the world please see the following link drive.google.c...
This is a Rolemaster Actual Play using both Discord and Tabletop Simulator. The game system used in our game is Rolemaster 2nd Edition/Classic, with a very liberal inclusion of home rules.

ABOUT THE SETTING
World of Duranarki, The Continent of Men;
It is a time of high international tension, particularly between the three major world powers; The Kingdom of Thrayce, The Empire of Thamazaul & the Confederation of the Sarn Kush.
While, humans predominate both other species also clamour and strive to make their mark in this tired, war torn land.
In this gritty, cut throat, world, politics, religion and commerce reign supreme. Characters need to be both smart and ruthless to survive.
This setting is a labour of love for myself, Chris (aka GM Chance), having been started in ~1992 and worked on ever since.

The visuals this session definitely added dimension to this episode and were appreciated. 😺 All the dismemberment and the maggots were a little gross though. 🤢
Thanks Valenica - I quite like how the two maps turned out (noting built on others original maps) ... as to the grossness ... yep it was a bit yuck for sure. Suspect that more of that (and worst?) will be coming as they head into the Green Fester of the Ala-Meng ... Twilight game tonight 🙂
@@ofhorrorsandheroes I cannot wait for Twilight!! I’m addicted!!😺
Listening to ur group makes me excited to experience Rolemaster as a player.
Excellent thanks Valencia! What did you think of the episode? I think it was just all a bit easy RE their fight with the spiders …. Too easy??? 😈☺️
That is so kind. If you are still searching for a group to play with I’d be happy to put out a public service announcement saying that we have a viewer who is super keen to play & is looking for a group? Lemmie know 😊
What software is this?
We use Discord for communication, Tabletop Simulator for the maps and Rolemaster Combat Minion for combat. Dunno if you know the software but if you haven't seen it its worth checking out. The following is a link to a video overview I did for it - super handy ua-cam.com/video/a7cYZyhO1J4/v-deo.htmlsi=3F6STZvPNiWmDAwJ
Tabletop Audio and Ambient Mixer for sound. Oh and Kenku Audio to pipe the audio effects into Discord - its free and works pretty well I think. Lastly Xnview (also free) to share images in full screen.
Hope that helps? 😃
