ABOUT THE SETTING
World of Duranarki, The Continent of Men;
It is a time of high international tension, particularly between the three major world powers; The Kingdom of Thrayce, The Empire of Thamazaul & the Confederation of the Sarn Kush.
While, humans predominate both other species also clamour and strive to make their mark in this tired, war torn land.
In this gritty, cut throat, world, politics, religion and commerce reign supreme. Characters need to be both smart and ruthless to survive.

Rolemaster Actual Play: (E118) Ain’t no place for a Hero “The Pain of Reanimation”
Its weird when you watch a combat which you're not involved in, what pops up in your head. In this case it was watching the party fight the fire being. So characters attacking with 2 weapons follow the 2 weapon combat rules but I assume monsters don't. Its only now that I thought why not? I bring this up because I watched the monster attack two different opponents and I assume it didn't get a penalty for this. The assumption is that, its a monster and that rule doesn't apply but I wonder, why not? The other side is if the monster is spreading its attacks around, then no one character will go down fast!
Hi Strazz - yeah fair question. I think the way it is explained in Creatures & Treasures is that many animals (& by extension monsters) tend to be faster and more intricately built for combat & can therefore attack more than once in a round. It hasn’t come up in one of my games that I recall but likely if there was a monster that was wielding two weapons rather than a natural attack I’d likely apply the two weapon combo rules
Love seeing some Rolemaster. I"ve been thinking about using it for a post apocolyptic setting. It could handle the modern firearms and technical skills well. Have fun!
Thanks ReadngDave for the very kind comments 😊 Personally I think RM would work really well for a post apocalyptic game! Check out the RM supplement Weapon Law: Firearms if you haven’t already seen it Delighted you are enjoying seeing Rolemaster & our videos. Please subscribe if you haven’t already & spread the word Happy gaming 😊
There's so much to discuss about this session and there's lots of opportunities for players to play their characters if they want to.
Nice one thanks Strazz! Yep we had fun recording this - shame the sound isn't great but hey. Three more in-person videos (1 Hero & 2 Twilight) to edit and then back to "normal service"/better audio quality of remote games 😀
Phrase of the session, "Demos is really drowsy" lol.
Love it!! 😆
I love the Rolemaster focus, but since you went to the room video style, audio has been a serious problem
Hi Chris thanks for the kind comments - yeah its not great I know sorry. The good news it its only for x4 episodes for each of the two campaignes that we are playing and then we are back to playing online and much better sound quality. It is the second year that we have recorded our in person games and I had an issue with the mics this year and yes the sound isn't as good as the previous year. If we can encourage you to stick at it (or even fast forward through these episodes) our online games will start again soon. :)
Its an interesting situation when characterization and perspective come into play and a situation just begins to snowball fast. Tarquin has been true to his character to date (Its not a judgement, just an observation). Loved the justification, then doubling down but unfortunately the dice did not roll in Tarquin favour.
Thanks :). He's fun to play but sometimes gets a bit frustrating!!! And much as in life, he's just got to roll with this luck....
Nice one Strazz thanks ☺️
Interested to know what the spell was that Niathanel cast, Holding Bands, spell list, mentalism?
Heya - yes, Holding Bands is a 4th level Mentalism spell from the Air Mastery list. :)
Any thoughts on this in person episode by the way @strazz? I think the sound is a bit ropey in places. Curious to get any thoughts or feedback 😊
@@GrahamStride Air Mastery list?, what sourcebook is that in, I'm not familiar with the list. As ever Graham you make this viewer just pause and listen, even if it was in the middle of a fight or just brewing a cuppa to hear those words you belt out! :)
@@ofhorrorsandheroes Yeah the sound was ropey and did make some of the interaction tricky to hear. Because there was less graphic display of the characters in play and the wonderful slides that normally go with the sounds it did take me out of the story and I lost some of the continuity of it. Also the length was quite long for me and I watched it in stages, I skipped the quiz as a whole at the end. What little I sampled of the quiz seemed to be more for the benefit of the players as they recalled past event of their character(s) and what other players recalled from past times. As an event, it was nice to see more of the players in person, as well as their interaction with one another and their GM. It did bring home some realization that now that players are scattered across the land or globe, the classic notions of playing round a table with lots of combat tables, dice, figures and scenery have likely done its day in most cases (Unless the group are local to one another). I do have to add I believe the adventure being played has been played out before by another group I was watching sporadically (It was recorded a few years back). I recalled a session I watched (I stopped watching as I realized some of the names were still the same as played here and I clicked to what the adventure's name was. Also it reminded me about one thing, it is definitely more deadly in a rolemaster adventure than it is in a DnD one. The lead up encounters before you get into the meat of the adventure can really suck the enthusiasm out of a party as they soldier on and perhaps its because the healing is harder from the combat effects (Crits) that party's endure. To be fair the group is as much about socializing, with strong characterization as well as playing while tactical roles do take a lower priority. But every so often the group does display moments of deadliness to their foes which they overwhelm quickly when they pull together and support one another. If I had some advice for the players, follow the combat and listen to the GM. When an attack has no effect on the target and a magic item does change your attack to a magic weapon or spell because if your character can see what happening with other characters attacking then they know when non-magic doesn't work. Also was Demos there ?, if so if his spear was magical could attack from a second rank with minimal chance of being hit due to reach. There's more but I can imagine Chris saying shut-up at this point lol. Happy gaming folks!
@@GrahamStride Closest I've come to this spell list is in RMFRP Fire & Ice Elemental Companion Pg 27 Spell List - Air Control. 4th Lvl Spell Force Binding. It looks like a Base Attack Spell, so that means a resistance roll for the target to resist the effect of the spell. In general my opinion would be it follows the usual procedure of these spells (Like Sleep V) if they make the resistance roll the spell fails and the target doesn't roll again. Another thing it mentions is for every 5 levels of the caster you can attack a man sized target , so Niathanel could take on 2 man sized target within range. But duration is 1rd/lvl with Caster concentration(Interesting would that mean 90% or 75% activity for the caster). All other effects of the spell still apply.
Gotta say, the transformation described of the mullhi (spelling) was a nice touch, loved it. Good story telling
Thanks again for your kind words Dud1m0us 😊 Yep I remember having fun coming up with that wee side mission. We got together in person recently which was fun! So much better playing in person. Happy gaming to you & delighted you are enjoying the story/stories 😊👍🏻
Question - Time to cast spells?. You don't use Class 1, 2 or 3 spells as per Spell Law. So all spells (Except Instantaneous spell) casting time (Not including early casting or casting spells above caster level) take 2 rds?
Good question Strazz - we use the optional rule in RM Companion I p.7 in terms of prep for spells (same as MERP).
I was intrigued by the combat in this. From my memory of Rolemaster, which does have some rather esoteric rules, I've seen such similar situations, and thought perhaps them too easily mis-interpreted to the detriment of the players. One of these is using the Parry option. Rolemaster's combat is based, more or less, on the principle that a character's activiy is spread throughout the round, with any rolls being the net result of a period of time within which, concievably several actions are performed, not just one. What this means is that the result of a "Strike" is actually the sum of several attacks. This makes sence to me... as the combat, is by necessity, an abstract. Thus the apportionment of a character's "OB" into attack/defence should be treated the same way. i.e. If a character chooses to "Parry" then that OB used to do so isn't directed towards a specific strike but rather in opposition to the OB used by an opponent during that round. Yes, the effectiveness of that parry might be reduced by the effectiveness of the "parrying" weapon, but it should still apply to ALL the attacks performed by that specific opponent for the complete round. A shield's DB also doesn't cease to be after being used to parry, it remains a constant, as long as it faces the opponent/s. Also isn't a roll of 96-00 an open-ended roll, not 95?
I'd also add that when facing multiple opponents, the character does need to split and direct any "parry" between them, though not necessarily equally.
I can answer some of this as I asked the same question. This group include 95 as part of their open ended roll for attacks. Its not unusual for groups to develop their own take on the rolemaster rules, especially if you consider all the options that have come along that a group could use and also what version of rolemaster they play from, MERP, Rolemaster 2, RMSS, RMFRP, Harp to RMU. Yeah parrys an interesting one as it says you can parry one or multiple attack depending on OB a character has, ability for a particular profession feature(Monk comes to mind) or just a plain house rule. And as for shield, I recall reading in Arms Law a shield can block a opponent attack(s) . I guess you could ask 2 questions, if a main gauche (+15DB vs melee) is not used to attack and get the DB, if also parrying with it as well is the parry for one attack ? and any other attack to it is just the main gauche DB?
@@Strazz1313 If the biggest issue, well, in most rpg's, is that of the use (and effectiveness) of things suach as off-hand weapons and shields (in particular). From my experience, I'd say the shield is both a static asset to the player, provding cover (regardless of the skill of the wielder), and becomes an active asset in the hands of a skilled user. Using a main-guache is somewhat different, so I'd say it's use is more "active" than passive, thus giving a bonus to DB only when OB is dedicated to parry.
Yep this is correct as far as I am concerned too. The character parrying suffers a 10% penalty in action (spilt focus) as a result. Two is the max that a character can parry in a round. Pretty sure this is RM RAW though I may be wrong.
thanks @Strazz for stepping in and yep exactly as you say RE the 95+ for open ended. It was just a house rule we started playing from the 1980s which has stuck. 01 - 05 for an Low Open Ended/fumble/failure and 95 - 100 for an High Open Ended. Just a quirk of our games. Yeah the parry question is an interesting one and yes you are right @GrinnenBaeritt (still an excellent user name IMHO) about the whole: “Rolemaster's combat is based, more or less, on the principle that a character's activity is spread throughout the round, with any rolls being the net result of a period of time within which, conceivably several actions are performed, not just one. What this means is that the result of a "Strike" is actually the sum of several attacks. This makes sense to me... as the combat, is by necessity, an abstract” I hadn’t actually thought about applying this to parry, but yes, on reflection I guess that does make sense right? If you are attacking its in abstract and yes your point makes sense it should be the same with parry. Hence in the combat in question Severin should have been able to parry both the main sword attack and the left hand attack. Thanks - I’ll adjust our rules and tell the players. As to the shield’s DB I’m pretty sure I have read someone in the RM rules (ie RM RAW) that a shield in combat can only be used against one foe in a round (can also be used for missile parry too by sacrificing OB). I guess in my head it has always been that, yes while a shield’s DB is not simply going to vanish after one attack rather than the person using the shield in melee against a melee opponent, the shield user is actively trying to block a blow to them with the shield. Should a second foe attack sure the shield is still there but the shield’s user has spent all of their time/round blocking someone else and the second foe can attack around/over/past the shield. Ie the shields user has devoted their action to actively block one attack and a second or third attack might well get past the shield. Potentially an argument could be made for a partial DB from the shield “just being there/being passive” but I think that starts to get messy. That is the way it works in my head and my games anyway.
Falling off a wall 40' high. Roll on the Fall/Crush table @ +40, plus any other factors such as downed or prone etc. One of the deadliest tables there is!
Yep that table is gonna ruin your day. I think it actually IS the most deadly table from memory.
I must say that Etienne’s soliloquy was brilliant. Overall, the roleplaying was very enjoyable. 😊
@@valenciajones7742awwww thanks! We had a great in person game the weekend just been. It might be a few days till the 1st of those 4 videos are up! A LOT of editing!

Yep & aided by some GREAT rolling from the NPC guides always helps too right? 😊 It’s our Hero in person game this coming weekend in AKL which we are all excited for. Will likely be a few days till the x4 videos from these two days come out BTW Stay tuned.
@@ofhorrorsandheroesIt’s going to be epic!! I’m excited for the in-person dynamic.
Maybe a question for the players if you'll allow. What role do they see their character playing as a member of the party? . Would be interested in the replies from both parties. Also appreciated a brief recap/reminder on the relevance of where and why the party were there in relation to the grand scheme of things as I wasn't sure at one point.
Sure 🙂. My two in Twilight. Severin: resident tank, sees his role as leading from the front - ie: first line in combat, taking the lead in negotiations, concerned about strategy and urges the party to work closer together in fighting as a unit. Principled, and all about the mission. But likes the sound of his own voice and can be overbearing. Taenya: a sneak with outdoor skills, acts as scout. In combat, best with range weapon, so can take out foe ahead of melee, but will step into the fray when things get tight. Rather blunt and often spiky, so best kept out of communications. Morally fluid, so can take on tasks others may not stomach.
Jaeda's role is to stay alive long enough to heal people (when they remind her to do so) and she likes to come up with ideas but is still learning the game mechanics to be able to carry them out. She's paranoid and extremely shy and occasionally she feels her role is convert the others to her religion. She has a very dark sense of humour which must be constantly held in check to avoid offending others.
@@GrahamStride I agree Severin comes across as tactically experienced, not sure about the spikey but I'd have thought plain spoken and pragmatic in outlook. And that OB with the sword is something to be feared! Taenya does seem to say little but maybe more a actions speaks louder than words sorta character - Thanks for the insight.
@@StaraTrifonova Tactically made some very insightful decisions during combat I noticed. Can't wait to see the dark humour and enjoyed some of the character play!
Great question thanks @Strazz and nice one RE the answers from Graham and Stara below. Perhaps the other players may add their thoughts in due course too.
Its a pity when the party opened the door, they didn't surprise the bad guys and get a round of actions before they could react. GM, think you forgot the disengaging from melee maneuver (From your activity sheet = 30%), so many little details to have to remember in a combat round! The healer should heal wounded party members.
Dammit! Yes thanks @Strazz1313. I knew when that combat was happening that I had missed something about how the characters were running in and out of the doorway to attack ... and that was it! The disengaging from melee maneuver you rightly point out. Thanks for the catch! Playing Episode 150 for Twilight tomorrow (Sun 13 Oct) so lets see how the confrontation with the big critter goes!
1:05:53/54 - A broadsword is two-handed in Rolemaster? It normally is in other RPGs. If so, the user cannot use a shield.
Yep Rolemaster is an old crunchy game from the 1980s & as with games of that vintage game designers, without access to the internet etc, were a bit looser with terminology. Both a broadsword & a longsword in RM are considered one handed weapons as a result A “two handed sword” in the game is just that & a bastard sword can be used one or two handed RM is a vicious deadly game & a shield is often a very good idea!
@@ofhorrorsandheroes I've been playing since the late 70's. So mostly Twilight 2000, early D&D verzions, paranoia, runequest, Call of Cthulhu, and others. I only have MERP and the Standard rules physically. Got others digitally, but barely played them because of others not interested.

Unfortunately though Graham's voice became clearer, Aidan's was hard to hear on the video. Suggestions - Wall of Wood spell dropping on climbing undead would be a good thing. Also light spell (Some cast Shock Bolt so I assume they have the Light Spell as well) cast on an arrow and fired in the direction of the spell caster might bring the hidden enemy into the light (Literally).
Nice one @Strazz1313! Great suggestions thanks. Hopefully Aidan's mic is better for the next session, Wed 16 Oct - just before our weekend session by the way.

@@ofhorrorsandheroes good demonstration
Things were going so well…until they weren’t at the end. 🥺 I’m dying to know what cast the spell at Etienne. I was hoping the decision to camp above the ground would’ve given the party more of an advantage.
Yep it was a pretty good session for the team .... till it wasn't! Being up high though can make you an obvious and clear target .... Lets see what happens! Next game Wed 2 Oct NZT 😊
Area Elemental Spells Attack with 96UM is a result on the Cold Ball table (Note UM next to the Die Roll on the chart). I assume its a crit drop of 1 and AT4. The result reads as 18B(Adjusted for the -1 Crit drop). The key here is that its a 96UM roll, I assume this means it cannot be modified offensively or defensively. However note these for regular roles (Centered target is always a good thing for the caster). AREA SPELLS Certain Elemental Attack spells are called Area spells (Fireball, Coldball, etc.). These spells attack all targets in their radius. Modifications to the EAR due to caster's Agility, caster's skill, and target's shield do not apply; all other modifications do apply. In addition there is a +20 EAR modification for any target at the center point (choosen by caster) of the spell's effect. A GM may require only one EAR to be applied to all targets or individual EARs, whichever he deems appropriate for the given situation. If the GM decides on individual EARs, only the first could result in spell failure; a subsequent EAR that would normally result in spell failure is treated as a "no effect" result.
Super thanks for this too - I think the main issue was what to do, as happened in this game when there was an "over kill" over the top result role (ie open ended?) Maybe there simply are no open ended rolls for Area attacks??
@@ofhorrorsandheroes Interesting point, found this in Spell Law under 8.1 or 8.14 depending on what version you're looking up. Its listed under Unmodified rolls. 8.14 Unmodified Rolls (UM) Certain results on some rolls indicate an immediate effect and no modifications are considered. These rolls are marked on the appropriate charts with a UM. For example, all spell attack rolls of 01-02 indicate immediate spell failure, regardless of target, caster, or any other considerations. This implies for UM rolls, any DB mods (Elemental Attack Roll Modifications Table) are not considered as long as there's a line of sight to target for the spell to go to, to explode at the target point. In fact the whole of Section 8 of Spell Law is an interesting read. Here's a snapshot of stuff relevant to what you may have been wanting to know about: 8.4132 Shields A shield which faces the caster gives the target a bonus indicated on table 10.3 (this DOES NOT apply to area spells such as fireballs or coldballs). +++++ I find this interesting if the center of the ball is before the shield (Such as the Wall Shield). 8.4133 Cover and Position At times, the target may be in an advantageous position (e.g. partially behind a tree) and this should be reflected in a subtraction from the EAR (to be determined by the Gamemaster). Note that, at times, the defender's position may be so advantageous that he cannot be affected by the attack (use common sense). 8.4134 Items and Spells See 8.4126. 8.414 Area Spells Certain elemental attack spells are area spells (fireball, coldball). These spells attack all targets in their radius. Normal modifications (8.412, 8.413) do not apply. Modifications that DO effect area EAR's are: + 5 for no helm - 5 for a full helm (with face covering) + 20 for the target at the center point of the spell and the quickness bonus modified for armor OR 0 to - 60 for cover (not both). These modifications are summarized in 10.93. A Gamemaster may require only one roll to be applied to all targets or individual rolls, whichever he deems appropriate for the given situation (but only the first of these could result in spell failure; a roll that would normally result in spell failure that is subsequently encountered is treated as a "no effect" result, without prejudice to any previous or subsequent rolls that the Gamemaster might require to resolve this spell). Saw some of the cheat sheets your group have, some of the above was there too. And handy to have.
Hilarious just heard about possible flying baddies!
Great minds think alike huh? ;)
Always admire those terrain maps!
Awwwwwww ... thanks. This one was one I found and modified on Steam. It was originally a river in a forest and I turned it into a swamp.
Observation - The party can help each other, tying a rope around the climber and hauling them up if they can't climb or even assisting their climb and also if there's a fall to avoid / minimize damage. Same for their gear. Once up. rope and pitons (If they have them) to help strap them in on the wall so they don't roll off when asleep. Even a safety rope on each of them should they have to fight might be a thought. Leaving rope down is asking for trouble, when it can be coiled up and stacked at the top, then kicked / uncoiled down when needed. Here's hoping there's no flying predators lol. Key point, the party can help each other.
Nice one thanks Strazz - some great suggestions. BTW I dropped you a follow up line in Discord :)
I hate spiders still.lol There were more good rolls tonight. ☺️ What do u think abt Chakhram as a weapon for pure spell users?
Nice one Valencia and yep the team had the dice god's favour for that session! A Chakhram?? Hmmmmm ... to be honest I haven't thought about it. I'm sure there are stats for it somewhere in RM. Yeah I guess it would be as good as any ... though two things: once you throw it, it could be gone and secondly the humble sling allows you to fire and reload in one round! Also slings are portable, concealable and your ammo can be pretty easy to find (a rock). Just a thought there ... for sure a pure spell user is wise to keep their distance in a fight!
@@ofhorrorsandheroes Thank u!! Excellent advice abt the chakhram; i’ll think abt it a bit more. 🤔

From Spell Law regarding items casting spells. 9.2.2 - . INTELLIGENCE The effect of intelligent items on characters or a game will depend upon the world system used (e.g., control or dominance of a character by an item he is using). Normally, the "alignment" of such an item is the same as that of the Alchemist that makes it. In terms of Rolemaster, intelligence allows any character to use spells "imbedded" in items (see Section 9.2.3) without having to successfully use his Staves & Wands skill (see ChL Section 3.7). Normally, a spell may not be cast from an item unless: the wielder has made a successfully Staves & Wands (Attunement) roll for the item or the item has the intelligence necessary for casting the spell as outlined below. (Check out Attunement skill description RMC2 under Section 7.0 Complete Skill Descriptions. The following is a summary of the effects of various intelligences that can be placed in an item by the corresponding spells on the Enchanting Ways list: Empathy .............................. Allows casting of 1st lvl spells. Low Intelligence ................. Allows casting of 2nd I vi spells. Medium Intelligence ........... Allows casting of 5th lvl spells. High Intelligence ................ Allows casting of lOth lvl spells. Very High Intelligence ....... Allows casting of 20th lvl spells.

This episode didn’t fo too badly. The possibility of ogre treasure caught my attention.lol Why did Taenya attack the wounded men? Is Jaeda a Lay Healer?
Hey Valencia - thanks for your note. Taenya is not squeamish at taking the life of a foe. To her rationing, both soldiers were in the pay of the TPP, an organisation that tortured her father to death, murdered her godmother, and has designs on destroying much of civilization. She and her companions are also known targets of the TPP, so in her head it’s also a case of kill or be killed. But, yes, the act could certainly be seen as unnecessary and callous. I’ll try having a word with her… :)
@@GrahamStride Thank u for the insight!! Her decision makes more sense now. I have to agree with her because it is better to err on the side of caution.
Hi Valencia - yep indeed Jaeda is a Lay Healer (despite being quite religious & could have chosen to be a religious Healer, in terms of profession) 😊

Thanks @strazz1313 good idea. 😊Because Rolemaster is such a lethal game each character gets x3 life levels/death saves, assuming, at least till now, that there was some kind of plausible way in the story that they could survive. Thank you so much for this. Just stumbled over it from FB. A great quality video, well-presented and a far more realistic "actual" RM play than many of the video's I've seen... I guess that's the closet RM fan in me ( along with having an accounting background ;) )... as I actually love seeing things like the M/M mechanics being "played out", rather than being glossed over in combats like so many D&D ones.... I personally use RMSS (also home-brewed/house ruled, who doesn't! ;) ).. so, perhaps I'm used to quite a bit more "work" with respect to the 3-part initiative/action system that uses. Aka (Everyone states what they intend doing, at what pace, and in what phase, and then roll for initative). Thanks again, great stuuf!
Hello @GrinnenBaeritt - thanks for these generous comments! They quite made my day! Really pleased that you like what you have seen of us (don’t forget to check the other story too, the Ain't no place for no Hero game. Always good to hear from a fellow RM fan and yep we play all the M/M and static action rules (homebrewed to a certain degree, as everyone does, as you say). While we mainly play RM Classic/RM 2nd Edition I do think the way that RMSS handled skills with categories as well as induvial skills was quite a good way to go and I’m thinking to do something similar with our games. In due course at least. We did used to do the 3-part initiative/action system (declare actions, roll initiative and then resolve actions) but found that the declare and rolling initative slowed things up a tad. As I used Rolemaster Combat Minion which can automatically roll initiative for everyone we just jump straight to the actions. If you don’t know Combat Minion it may be worth you checking it out … its has dramatically sped up our games Havea look at the following for more info ua-cam.com/video/a7cYZyhO1J4/v-deo.htmlsi=ru8b3FLo5-Q55XCH Again, thanks for the kind words and enthusiasm and please if you haven’t subscribed we would love you to do so. @@ofhorrorsandheroes Re: 3 part initiative system. Yes, it does incur quite some planning to make it work smoothly. and is probably easier done "face-to-face" rather than online. It actually makes a second "game" of sorts, and can be quite fun and suspenseful, and realistic... especially since ALL the actions are meant to represntive of a 10 second period of time. It's been awhile since I've Gm'ed RM at all, (about 5-6 years now), but I created some cards with actions (like Movement, Melee, Missile, spell etc) and Pace cards. These I put in "Card protectors". Each player had a copy of them for their characters to use, and I'd several different sets for the various opponents. There would be three areas in front of me (snap, normal, and deliberate). Once the encounter got to a point where an initiative would be required, I'd generally lay my cards down on snap phase first (face down) , then the players would do the same...then repeat for normal, then deliberate.... then everybody rolls for initiative. I'd order the cards, still face down, then we'd resolve the actions in turn. If someone wanted to change an action card, they could, but resolving a different action (rather than just doing nothing) would incur a -20 penalty. Once I'd laid my inital card/s on snap, I gave the players 30 seconds to decide/discuss what they wanted to do before laying theirs in each phase, thus it'd be quite frantic, failing to do so simply meant they didn't act, and after the Snap phase meant they were just parrying/or dodging.
Nice one! As you say almost a mini game within a the game! For sure easier to do face to face as opposed to how we play (with different players in different cities & countries) Thanks for the subscription 😊 and would have to get any further feedback as the games progress 👍🏻
Thanks for turning the order around to traditional binge format. Love the VTT
Sure thing! The VTT is Tabletop Simulator by the way. Hope you enjoy the rest of the story ... and please tell your friends if you think they could be interested! :)
I haven't messed with TTS in at least a year. I found the interface so much better with R20, but R20s map functionality can't match this. This is beautiful
What is the rest of your platform if I'm not asking trade secrets
@@dud1m0us Awwwwww .... thanks for the kind words. Pleased you like it. I think that TTS works really well and the 3D element really adds to the game. Really kind of you to comment thanks 😃
@@dud1m0us No not at all RE trade secrets! We use Discord for communication, TTS for the maps as mentioned above and Rolemaster Combat Minion for combat. Dunno if you know the software but if you haven't seen it its worth checking out. The following is a link to a video overview I did for it - super handy ua-cam.com/video/a7cYZyhO1J4/v-deo.htmlsi=3F6STZvPNiWmDAwJ Oh and Kenku Audio to pipe the audio effects into Discord - its free and works pretty well I think. Lastly Xnview (also free) to share images in full screen. Hope that helps? 😃
Oh, um, your playlist seems to be in reverse order. Could you switch it around so it goes from oldest to latest, please? It's easier to just let it run in the background while I listen and do other things that way. ^_^
Sure thing. Now done 😊 I’d always thought that having the newest episode first made sense but several others have made the same request. Any other thoughts or feedback on our stories? 😊
@@ofhorrorsandheroes Thank you. If anything leaps to mind, I will be happy to leave a comment.
Super thank you & enjoy the story 😊
