I am not looking for a pastor in my president. Trump is not my savior, Jesus is. But as long as I have breath and I'm affected by government policies I will vote for what is best for me and my family.

I am 68 years old, retired and while I am concerned about the gender issue, abortion and so forth, I am more concerned about the economy, immigration, and war. I won’t divulge how much my retirement accounts have degraded.. it’s a lot. How much higher my real estate taxes have increased, how my gas, electric, water have increased.. not to mention groceries and gas. I also have sons and grandsons I do not want to them to go to war. With the state of our military a draft is a real possibility. So yes the culture wars are important but selfishly I am concerned for the rest of my life and my family. I also live in the Chicago land area and the immigration issue is devastating. Absolutely I am voting for Trump.

Ok, hear me out, my theory is that the modern day demonization of conservatives by the left is so successful because the left has managed to paint todays Constitutional Conservatives with the same paint that was used to coat the Christian Conservatives. Now the Christian Conservatives kind of deserved some of the labels with their attacks on music labeling, homosexuality and folks personal ideas on family, divorce, etc. They were very anti-gay, very pro-prisons, anti-religous freedom to other faiths, anti-free speech for their support for the labelling and censorship of rock and rap music mediums like records and cassettes. This is where labels like misogynistic, racist, homophobic originated from. Im a modern conservative, where i want to conserve our rights laid out in the Bill of Rights and protect the integrity of the US Constitution AS IT WAS WRITTEN, by the great men of the American Revolution. I dont care about how you live your life or who you love at night in the privacy of your own bedroom. I want the government and the Christian right out of my personal business period. This is the time of the modern Conservative. Conservatives who care about small government, fiscal responsibility in washington, law and order and protecting the God given rights for all Americans. We could care less about who you worship, who you love and what your family looks like. I'm a Floridian and wish Gov DeSantis would have waited to run for President until 2028. He promised to fullfill his term with us if he won. Gov DeSantis does a good job for Floridians. I attended a women's Bible study at a church near where I live a number of years ago. One year the book and video we were using was by Beth Moore. I became seriously tired of her "my way or the highway" attitude and found her whole presentation shallow. This was a pattern with thir Bible study and I quit going.
My values align more with DeSantis but if in the end of it looks like Trump is going to blow DeSantis out of the water then I’m not wasting a vote. I will vote for Trump. True... but the primary is designed to unite our house. The primary elections give time to pray and vet out candidates. The primary process is a "FAMILY DISCUSSION" that tests the candidates for better or worse and allows the 'cream' to rise to the top. The goal of the primary election is to be united with increased confidence around one candidate.

Being a voting conservative for over 3 decades I will say I voted for Cruz in the 2016 primary but have voted for Trump since and will this year Lord willing...I have never seen anyone stand so strongly for conservative principles and shine a light on evil in our government than Trump and can't understand how some don't see it. There will never be a perfect candidate because there is no perfect person, so we must go with who is most effective. I've never seen another person so effective as Trump even with his imperfections. I used to go to Bible Study and we watched the Beth Moore series. I’m sad she sees him like that. Yes, I don’t always like the way he says things or makes fun of people, but no one says a word about all the bullying at Trump, especially regarding his hair. I live in CA and Trump had our gas prices low, groceries were lower, no new wars started, and we had our oil reserves full and oil drilling and oil service companies were booming. We have oil fields 5 miles north of our home and 20 minutes west of us. I’ve worked for oil companies most of my younger years and all the smaller independent oil producers have all closed for good once Biden became president. Living so close to oilfields it seems so unfair we pay the highest gas prices in the nation. I just visited my aunt in NC and took a road trip to SC and both states’ gas prices were $3 to $4 cheaper than CA. That’s all due to taxes thanks to our democrat governor, Gavin Newsome. People watch out, he’s a slick speaking multi millionaire and nephew of Nancy Pelosi and wants to run for president. The rest of the nation would be in the same situation as CA.

Myself and other Christians, like me support Trump because he has proven he can win and govern for effective conservative policies, and he fights the progressive establishment forces. While I would support any candidate, running against the current Democratic Party, I am happy to be a Trump supporter and look forward to him being elected in November. Believing that our candidates are a mirror of ourselves is the problem, isn’t it? In 2020, people were upset with Trump’s mean tweets and brash rhetoric, but they fail to realize that the economy was in great shape, the stock market was on fire, we were on our way to being energy-independent, the petroleum reserves were maximized, groceries and gas were affordable, no NEW wars, ILLEGAL immigration was at an all-time low at the southern border, etc. Despite all of that, we didn’t like Trump’s persona…SO, we voted for the person we THOUGHT would bring civility back to the WH. Americans voted for Biden as a referendum on Trump. Little did we know that that vote would nearly cost us our nation. I do not care about Trump’s mean tweets or impolite rhetoric anymore. For 2024, I will definitely be voting for him even if he’s sitting in a jail cell (all ridiculous lawsuits, by the way) and I have to write his name in the ballot. Being niether persuaded nor dissuaded by anyone, I listen, pray and trust that God is able to guide me to His desire. On the abortion issue, there was audio a few months back that DeSantis intended to return to more of a "middle of the road" stance on abortion if elected, if I recall correctly. I don't know that any of them are 100% as pro life as I am as a Christian, but I love President Trump and there is no question in my mind that he's the guy we need in office right now. He's not my pastor, he's not my savior, but he is my president. I don't trust any of the others as far as I can throw them. They are bought and paid for and they lie. Your comment is old, but yes, this is correct. They started Destantis in a ultra conservative direction to make Trump look less conservative. It’s all political. Desantis was actually not ultra conservative. Many Christians don’t think of it in a political way when they are making voting decisions, so don’t see that. Problem is, political games are being played and we have to be able to sift through the dirt to get to the truth.

Beth Moore for some reason in my opinion along time ago has changed her direction in faith. As a pastor’s wife I went to her conferences and my husband with went me at times. She for some reason had a “shift” in her beliefs that no longer resonates with me. Not that I have it all. I continue to learn from the scriptures. I pray she does as well. It’s interesting to listen to Allie and Steve talk. I’m a Christian, saved at age 28 when I was pregnant with my son and not married. His father and I married before my son was born and we are together 22years later (with a near divorce and a miracle save by Jesus ❤). People who came to faith broken and after they have lived a life apart from Christ can’t relate to your version of judgey Christianity. I adore Allie immensely and I am so happy neither of them went through what I and others have gone through on the faith journey. Trump was not my choice the 1st time around but when he became the Conservative candidate for President, I held my nose and voted for him. Did I like this demeanor and sometimes nasty comments, no but I sure was surprised at how well our country was doing under his leadership until COVID conveniently hit during an election year. I will probably vote for him again. My fear is if he wins in 2024 and takes office again our country will literally go down in flames with riots and violence from the radical left.

I am 68 years old, retired and while I am concerned about the gender issue, abortion and so forth, I am more concerned about the economy, immigration, and war.
I won’t divulge how much my retirement accounts have degraded.. it’s a lot. How much higher my real estate taxes have increased, how my gas, electric, water have increased.. not to mention groceries and gas.
I also have sons and grandsons I do not want to them to go to war. With the state of our military a draft is a real possibility.
So yes the culture wars are important but selfishly I am concerned for the rest of my life and my family.

I attended a women's Bible study at a church near where I live a number of years ago. One year the book and video we were using was by Beth Moore. I became seriously tired of her "my way or the highway" attitude and found her whole presentation shallow. This was a pattern with thir Bible study and I quit going.

I disagree with Beth Moore - our candidates are not mirrors of ourselves, though we do expect them to represent us. Those are 2 different things. Being a voting conservative for over 3 decades I will say I voted for Cruz in the 2016 primary but have voted for Trump since and will this year Lord willing...I have never seen anyone stand so strongly for conservative principles and shine a light on evil in our government than Trump and can't understand how some don't see it. There will never be a perfect candidate because there is no perfect person, so we must go with who is most effective. I've never seen another person so effective as Trump even with his imperfections. Anyone who has been around Trump for any length of time will say he is a good guy. Maybe we should listen to those who know rather than what the media makes him out to be. It may be God who is using him in this generation.

I used to go to Bible Study and we watched the Beth Moore series. I’m sad she sees him like that. Yes, I don’t always like the way he says things or makes fun of people, but no one says a word about all the bullying at Trump, especially regarding his hair. I live in CA and Trump had our gas prices low, groceries were lower, no new wars started, and we had our oil reserves full and oil drilling and oil service companies were booming. We have oil fields 5 miles north of our home and 20 minutes west of us. I’ve worked for oil companies most of my younger years and all the smaller independent oil producers have all closed for good once Biden became president. Living so close to oilfields it seems so unfair we pay the highest gas prices in the nation. I just visited my aunt in NC and took a road trip to SC and both states’ gas prices were $3 to $4 cheaper than CA. That’s all due to taxes thanks to our democrat governor, Gavin Newsome. People watch out, he’s a slick speaking multi millionaire and nephew of Nancy Pelosi and wants to run for president. The rest of the nation would be in the same situation as CA.

Beth Moore has changed her stance on many things since 2006. Also being a white female ,believer of Christ I don’t per se like everything DRT says yet I have seen proof in a better economy, our borders and our presentation in the world.

Allie, it is really quite simple. Myself and other Christians, like me support Trump because he has proven he can win and govern for effective conservative policies, and he fights the progressive establishment forces. While I would support any candidate, running against the current Democratic Party, I am happy to be a Trump supporter and look forward to him being elected in November.

Believing that our candidates are a mirror of ourselves is the problem, isn’t it? In 2020, people were upset with Trump’s mean tweets and brash rhetoric, but they fail to realize that the economy was in great shape, the stock market was on fire, we were on our way to being energy-independent, the petroleum reserves were maximized, groceries and gas were affordable, no NEW wars, ILLEGAL immigration was at an all-time low at the southern border, etc. Despite all of that, we didn’t like Trump’s persona…SO, we voted for the person we THOUGHT would bring civility back to the WH. Americans voted for Biden as a referendum on Trump. Little did we know that that vote would nearly cost us our nation. I do not care about Trump’s mean tweets or impolite rhetoric anymore. For 2024, I will definitely be voting for him even if he’s sitting in a jail cell (all ridiculous lawsuits, by the way) and I have to write his name in the ballot. On the abortion issue, there was audio a few months back that DeSantis intended to return to more of a "middle of the road" stance on abortion if elected, if I recall correctly. I don't know that any of them are 100% as pro life as I am as a Christian, but I love President Trump and there is no question in my mind that he's the guy we need in office right now. He's not my pastor, he's not my savior, but he is my president. I don't trust any of the others as far as I can throw them. They are bought and paid for and they lie. Your comment is old, but yes, this is correct. They started Destantis in a ultra conservative direction to make Trump look less conservative. It’s all political. Desantis was actually not ultra conservative. Many Christians don’t think of it in a political way when they are making voting decisions, so don’t see that. Problem is, political games are being played and we have to be able to sift through the dirt to get to the truth.

Beth Moore for some reason in my opinion along time ago has changed her direction in faith. As a pastor’s wife I went to her conferences and my husband with went me at times. She for some reason had a “shift” in her beliefs that no longer resonates with me. Not that I have it all. I continue to learn from the scriptures. I pray she does as well. Right now we support President Trump. He is not perfect but I do believe God has placed him at such a time as this. God uses us all good and bad. If parents are paying for this child’s healthcare it should be left to parents. I do believe 18 is the age to be set, but that’s my personal conviction. I do not believe tax dollars should be used.

I used to be a die hard Trump supporter. My parents and my husband are the most Godly people I know and they all love Trump and believe that when he was president, things were better for everyone and all of America.
I felt convicted, personally, in the last election due to his creating Operation Warp Speed vaccines, his family’s ties with Kabbalah, some pedophiles he has been associated with over the years, and his ties in companies like GAVI (Bill Gates), Blackrock, Vanguard and more. I looked into all these things for myself and did a very deep dive and I just personally felt I couldn’t support him in the last election, so I abstained voting for President.
I will say, however, that I live in Arizona and so many people had Trump flags on their car, yard signs, anti-Biden stickers, and Iliterally only knew 2 people personally that voted for Biden. I 100% know without a doubt there was fraud and the powers that be swung us to a blue state. The governor didn’t even win. It’s all an agenda and sadly our votes don’t count anymore.
