So, I'm the one who sent in the Eley hose reel deal. Glad to see it made the cut.
I have one mounted on the side of my house. I loaded it with a 100ft Flexzilla hose from Walmart. I've gone through several plastic hose reels and holders in my life. This one is way better than anything else I've seen. They aren't cheap in price or cheap in construction. They are almost all metal.
Glad to see others are recommending them on here. I'll be sure to send in any future deals I see come through on them.
The Eley hose reels are the only ones worthy buying IMO, all the big box stores one break or leak after a year or two and are pushing 100 bucks, and its very hard to get any replacement parts or fittings. The Eley is built like a tank, and you can order any part of it that you need. No plastic, all brass and metal with the exception of the handle knob.
I was nervous spending that much on a hose reel, but every time I use it, I am glad I did.
"Or even a crackhead with a hammer"😄😆
Had me laughing out loud at work.
Eley is THE BEST. i am watering with their hose sprayer right now! Absolutely worth the price
Bear - Get a fire extinguisher...
Me - My dog doesn't have thumbs...
LMAO!!! 😅🤣😂
Only collies are actually able to operate fire extinguishers. 🐅 But only after they dial 911 and clear the residents from the house!
I actually did learn to pick those combination locks from a video but it wasn’t the lock picking lawyer😂
For all the people that like to crap on those little jump, pack combo tire inflator kits, it’s great that they have larger equipment and that’s just fine. This particular tool is not meant for them and that’s also fine. However, this is a great piece of kit for someone who does not have their own air compressor or just needs a little back up. It’s great for someone who has a golf cart or a lawnmower or a motorcycle or just needs a little back up something to travel with them. I live by a golf course and I think of all these old folks that drive around town on a golf cart and I wonder how many of them have problems and can’t jump their cart or fill the tire up because they don’t have any tools.
“Thank you may I have another “ 😂😂😂 I totally agree with that statement 😂
"Crack head with a hammer" LMFAO
I'm a lawn irrigation guy and when it comes to shovels Wolverine is THE BRAND!
Personally I own a Fiskar All steel shovel, I have NEVER had a shovel as tough as this thing!! Even the handle is steel welded to the shovel head and stupid strong!! I have destroyed a lot of shovels in my day....BUT what really impressed me is, when I ran over this shovel with a John Deere 930 with calcium filled tires and it didn't even phase this shovel!! Crazy thing is.....I own the shovel and NOT the John Deere!! LOL, But I have had this shovel now for about 15 years and it has held up to everything I throw at it which is my point!!
where mgfrd?

Ok - I’m going to have nightmares tonight. Picturing you walking from the shower to the front room. In the buff to stand in front of the air blower to dry those special places😂😮
The Eley hose reels are like the Cadillac of hose reels. They're expensive but built like an absolute tank, I bought the free standing one for the front yard and bought a Hoselink for the back yard. Would buy either of those two again in a heartbeat
The video posted 2 hours ago. I just checked Amazon in the car starter the on-page discount is now 10% instead of 30%. How quickly it changed.
Exactly.....that business model is a fail ....I was gonna buy .. .then just moved on. In the past, I got some great bear deals.
I took the 10... added Red's 20, used $17+ points value... ended up costing about $35@@JohnstonPettigrew
?@@tuberstitious.....can you explain where you got the other two credits ?
Same was all excited yhat$14 soured the deal
Dynamic pricing. Weak sauce
Those Eley hose reels are very nice. We got one in the back yard 3 years ago and it works the same as it did when new. Nice brass fittings. Got sick of buying all of those cheaply made(not always cheap $) that don't last. These generally don't go on sale that I have seen before.
I love Eufy. I bought the 340 doorbell, floodlight, an indoor camera and the Homebase 3. All work like a charm.
You should look this up. The new clutch mid torque impact wrench is the exact same as the hyper tough mid torque impact wrench. They also have interchangeable batteries.
Wait whut ???
I have an Eley hose cart. Love it. Stays out all year here in NJ. No issues. Strong! At least 8 years old.
Appreciated the stud finder comment. I have owned different units from $20 to $200. I finally gave up after trying them for nearly 50 years. I now use Hanson magnetic stud finders. They have never let me down. No, it doesn't locate pipes, wires, etc. The expensive units can't be trusted either. It doesn't show the width of the studs (1-1/2" haha), etc. But for 99% of why I needed a stud finder - they work. For less than $10 each, I keep 3 or 4 in the shop.
I 100% agree, right now Eufy is WAY better than the Wyze products I have. I no longer trust Wyze.
I have that Skil 12v one hand reciprocating saw, and that little thing is a beast! One note though, it does go through batteries fairly quickly. You only get about 10-15 minutes of HEAVY use with it. I strongly advise you get a 4ah battery if you don't already have one. And considering price of the 4ah battery, you might as well get that circular saw kit for $80, because it comes with a 4ah battery. That battery alone cost $50. The cheapest I've seen it in the past year was $40.
I'll keep buying Eufy, they work well and are a good value.
I have one of the Eley garden hose reels. It’s is a beast. I highly recommend them.
Bait and switch on the ACmount Jump Starter, when I went to Amazon, the price went from 69.99 to 79.99 and the 30% coupon in you show was only 10%, They lost a sale.
The thing was originally a steal at about $35....then dynamic prices took over .....it really wasn't so much bait and switch.....it's an Amazon game when sales start to move. I moved on too.👎🏼
@@JohnstonPettigrew Exactly, but you don't see for example Harbor Freight raising prices in the middle of a sale. I wonder if anyone got the screaming deal the Bear pitched.
@@thomaspetersen6642 ??....good question.
Oh man I was worried people might think I was crazy because I was using my recip saw outdoors. I was using the cheapo warrior harbor freight recip blades to cut limbs and roots. I’ll have to get those pruning blades so I stop bending the warrior blades.
Also if you need to do some trenching in the yard, especially where you have roots, the recip saw works wonders. Makes nice clean cuts in the sod and then it’s easy peasy with the flat blade shovel.
The best best best use for it is when you make the fresh cut on your Christmas tree. Man it’s so easy, takes one minute to pop the battery and blade in and make a nice quick cut. Versus a chain saw and all the hassle that comes with that or using a hand saw in the cold. No thanks.
Happy Bday to your daughter 🎉
I have a boatload of eufy cameras and doorbells. I like them all. The particular one you are showing, has gone on sale for $160 twice this month. Not sure if that's a sign of things to come.
Love Eley, their quick connects are the best I have ever used!!! Solid and great service!!
I picked up two of the Ozark Trail knives. Had to disassemble both and debur/polish the "axis" lock slider. Both were binding due to a square edge on the inner flanges rubbing on the inner scales. After that completed they are pretty decent knives for $10.
I’ll second the pruning blades on a recip saw. Magic!!!❤
No Snap on deals today ! LOL
I bought 2 7in and 2 10in of the malco eagle grips. Absolutely love them! Work of art! Almost hate to use them lol
ELEY is the BEST hose reels and their quick disconnects are 100 better than everything else. Pricey.
They rarely have sales and don’t do discount codes etc. They do affiliates Jeff 😉 maybe something to check out.
BUT like I said ELEY is the BEST but NOT cheap - their 2-3x other higher end reels and quick disconnects… but really nice - pass on to your grandkids kind of quality 😂
Later!
Happy birthday! 15!
The Eley hose and reel has been top picks at the Wirecutter for years.
i recently discovered i love the OTF knives the most
Those Eley hose winders are the thing!!! Got tired of busting those plastic hose reels over and over and over again. Bought an Eley and never looked back. Super nice. Loved it so much bought a second for the other hose bib. And I never spend that type of primo money but absolutely no remorse. Solid. Heavy powder coating and stainless hardware with a section of copper pipe. Nice stuff. Just wish I didn’t waste all that money on the crappy plastic hose reels.
I love the Franklin stud finder. It is a bar of LED lights that light up with no need to move it. 99.9% of the time, it finds the stud. IMO it is the Wera or Wiha of studfinders.
The Malco Eagle Grip Pliers are indeed different animals compared to any other vice grip pliers I've used. The fit & finish is night & day different. Extremely durable-feeling. I got the advertised 7 inch straight-jaw as well as a 10 inch curved-jaw overnighted from Amazon. For my immediate need I found the curved jaw to be much more useful.
Don't get the Fanttik air duster! For basically the same price or less with a $10 coupon, he one from the transwarrior store den of tools recommended. It's 3X times more powerful and cheaper with the coupon applied. The transwarrior has better reviews as well compared the the Fanttik and is the one Den of Tools demonstrated and took apart in a youtube video awhile ago. I have no affiliation with either brand, but I did my homework as I was have been looking for something I can use for may be a few minutes a day a few times a week when I need to dust off something like a fan vent or keyboard.
Love the flex deal, thank you! Bought!
Hey, the outro had the “DEALS OF THE WEEK” prompt instead of “Shine On” 😂
This guys ok but I really miss the bear :(
Eley stuff is the BEST. USA made and made to last. All aluminum/stainless/brass. Last forever and just work. Designed like it should be.
I keep an infrared thermometer in the kitchen, also. Comes in very handy for checking cooking temps...
As for stud finders, they are made for drywall. If you have plaster and lath just forget about it.
I was looking for a jump starter and these discounts came in clutch! I paid $48
the SeeSii Impact wrench is a hell of a deal and probably the best deal on here! I've had one for a couple of years and it's a beast! the luggage scale is heaven sent too... lol.
Dude, my stud finder has the same problem!
I'm sorry, call me posh, but I ONLY buy locks that are "Crackhead with a Hammer" proof.
Im at Walmart sniping the last display model ozark trail knife that got so popular! Edit: there were about 8 behind the counter. I was going to buy every last one of them, but only took 2. Online it's out of stock and 200+ people have one in their cart.
$30 - $60 now on ebay.. I guess it's the new mini Kobalt toolbox craze all over again..
@@jimmtech damn. I should have bought them all (to keep). However I know some schmoe like me was hopefully happy there were a few left.
51 minutes of Deals! 🤯 Go Jeff!
I dig a lot of holes. Razor-back wood handle shovel is the best! Also made in the USA only $36.
My dog turned my stove on as well. Samsungs are apparently known for this issue. I removed the knobs lol.
Fun fact, the Hercules blower with a eight amp hour battery also puts out a nice breeze, and the rubber wand helps get into crevices for effective drying…
You’re welcome
Try to unmake THAT image.
It is possibly my new favorite purchase from Harbor freight. Yeah… Favorite hands-down.
Eley has the reputation of being the last one you will buy. Take hand hose watering tools buy one on sale each year because yours broke. The Eley ones are solid brass with a ball valve and have a 10- year warranty. I see many of them on sale are out of stock.
I’ve personally picked several master locks. Even before I knew what a lock picking lawyer was I was getting into these. I picked them back in the 7th grade. We didn’t even have a computer back then. They really are crap locks and they only keep out honest thieves. I guess it’s better than not locking something at all, but seriously choose a better lock.
Back in the mid 90s dial up BBS systems we're still a thing. I downloaded a text file on opening those master combination locks. So easy to open. In many different ways. Hacking payphones and other telephony action was a whole lot of fun too.
@@joshuagibson2520 that’s the anarchist cookbook days
@@liquidrockaquatics3900 yes sir! Good times as a teen in the 90s.
Blueboxing for fun and profit!
@@denoftools hahahah. I love you brother. You know. :)
I enjoy your videos! Lots of good points on good deals. Maybe not what I might need, but maybe I might. Pour myself a nice adult beverage and listen to you ramble. ;) Thanks for your efforts!
Eley products are in a class all by themselves. Incredible quality and machining.
I live pretty close to the equator, so I don't know how they handle the cold. But I really like the TP link Tapo cameras. integration with Echo Show, cheap, good. One less app on my phone too since I use the Tapo power switches for my lights too.
What would you recommend for the best under the cabinet lighting and best code reader for under $100 with a lot of features for the money . . Thanks and I like that you are honest . .
Got 3 of the Walmart $10 knives. 1 for each of my vehicles. And one as a gift for my buddy to keep in his.
I'm unfamiliar with 12v tools. Are the weight to power worth it?
A nice selection for today.
Don't know if their web page is just getting slammed, but the deal at Ohio Power Tool with the Flex 6.0 battery kit plus free tool is wonky - you can see like six "choices" when you look at the initial page, but when you add to cart it runs REAL slow, then it only allows three choices for the free tool which are a 1/2 inch impact wrench, a (newer I think) 1/2 inch impact, and a 3/4 inch impact. ALSO shipping date is TBD. I tried it on two different browsers, same result. When I got my Flex drill and driver and batteries from, think it was Northern Tool, it was a two month wait to get the deal package. Your mileage may vary! A decent deal with that battery, just may be not quite what it says up front.
Prices change as time elapses. Someone noted that car starter going up. That 400pk of zip ties has dropped a little bit. Not sayin' that 30-cents compensates for that car starter, but any little bit...
The Soliom brand solar powered cameras have worked for years that I have had. Plus no need to run a power cable or POE cables. App is pretty good also for alarms to you phone.
The orange Ozark Trail knife is awesome. I also got one for my one armed friend \ coworker \ boss who is 79. Its going to be so easy for him to open.
Prpject Farm says those Vampliers linesman pliers suck 😂
That little jump starter, I would love to see somebody actually test the leads at 5000 A at 12 V. As for the little tire inflator, I bought a harbor freight tire inflator for $40 several years ago and it’s worked flawlessly for many years. It comes to the battery no problem
Love the video! Can you do a shop tour?
I just completed a router sled/assembly table, and the retractable casters are going to be PERFECT!
As I posted below, they are ALWAYS at that price. It's not actually a discount.
@@johnmack537 That's fine, I wouldn't have even seen them without this video.
@@martycaldwell7489 I bought a set myself (haven’t installed them yet), and they’re fine. They’re just NOT selling at a “40% discount”.
Donut toture tested one of those EPAuto torque wrenches, they seem to hold up pretty well.
I need a stud finder with a screne, mine also just beeps at me all the time
I like the $10 knife. I'm saving up for the Snap-On version ... should be able to finance it. haha
All the Milwaukee M12 batteries sit flat though.
I just was needing some recip saw pruning blades so I jumped on Amazon to order them. Couldn't get the additional sale price. I ordered anyway because it saves me from driving to Menards to get them. Not sure how they do these sales from you showing it 6 hrs ago to the price now, doesn't seem right.
HPpy Birthday Elenor, miss you

Happy birthday Elinore best wishes to you and your family blessings 🎉

@16:16 it's pronounced nite eyes. Company has been around for years but started as a company that sold a Maglite upgrade kit...
Get the Levoit Pet air purifier. It's sitting next to me running at work. Reasonable priced hepa filters too.
Got the Bauer random sander for $15 about 6 weeks ago.
In NC we'll trade you 20 degrees hot air for 20 degrees of ur cold air.😊
Did the promo code for the inflator expire? Its not working for me
Can we get a Desk/Production tour?? Really curious on your setup
I think Reolink seriously challenges for the value proposition over Eufy
Been keeping it in but trim that mustache bear. Your about to eat it. Love the picks for Monday. Thanks.
I'm not sure if it's just me but when I click the link for the jump starter it shows a 10% off coupon not 30.
It’s my kids birthday today too!!!
I did have to warranty my first Eufy doorbell after the lens glass fell off but it wasn't a hassle. I read a ton about Eufys issues back when they happened but haven't galen the time to review all the things Jeff has said they've done top atone. I'm still not sure I'm buying again
Oh sure, blame the old house. Your skin shedding off has nothing to do with the dust! :p. Just poking a little good fun, you do an awesome job, keep it up!
Only a matter of time before TikTok shop starts showing up in these deals of the week videos 😂
Not a chance. TikTok shops are just people reselling junk off of aliexpress. Never buy from TT shop you can usually find the same thing on Amazon for cheaper.
I've been watching the college freshmen move in and I've been wondering if they would do better with stacking toolboxes instead of suitcases. Look for whatever is in decent shape second hand. Also, could you turn a folding two wheel hand truck into a frame for a book pack, so you can wear it where you have to and roll it everywhere else?
Hey, it’s my birthday too.
Red you son of a biscuit eater!!! I just bought that stupid orange knife! I’m gonna have to keep it running total on what you’re costing me😂
Can you say, "Quincinera"? Better yet, can you afford one?
What do you mean temps in the 40s? Been that for a long time. For a high. Degrees C. In Phoenix
Jump starter only 10% off now... no 30% 😞
Any idea when the next icon tool box sale is
