- Wind of cold raging sea
No peace yet power at hand
Viking ships through out the storm
To conquer new land
A boat of wood av crew of brave
Fighting to row forth
Plunder rage and sarcrifice
The vikings from the north
As they reach the coast in south
Silence pledge the land
Viking thunder as they run
Swords held in hand
As of earthquake the ground would shake
Yet more and more
Plunder rage and sarcrifice
The vikings from the north
My power and strength from Odins voice
Will meet the enemy
My friend the sword and a grip of stone
My bloodlust never leave
I send my victims to Nifelheim
As I run through the field of war
Plunder rage and sarcrifice
I am a viking from the north
There is only one thing I can do about the ignorance of others. Attempt to teach the truth of the legends, Lore and doings of my ancesters. I cannot tell people what to think or what to say, but I can continue to do as I always have done. Live by my belief in the Northern traditions and Asatru and hope that by being myself others can see how wrong they are to push hate behind a family oriented and warrioristic culture. Sigr Ok Valhall.
i agree totally, sigr ok valhall
Det er ingen mans sted å dømme, bare for å prøve å lære
It is no mans place to judge, only to try to teach...As a Godhi that is my place in life.
I have lived day after day and watched people begin to hate my ancestors and beliefs because of that sort of thinking.
but i like that they abuse it to their warrior spirit, thats a compliment to the vikings warrior culture in my opinion, maybe not fully to the rest of the culture or peace part
All I can do about it is report your compadre for his racial remark, and try to do what I swore to do when I became a Godhi in the faith of Asatru...That would be the "Viking" faith; even though I doubt either of you get that Viking's were not a people the word means Explorer or Sea going folk...And that is why I cannot stomach close-mined supremists who try to push hate behind something they will never understand. The word viking has nothing to do with skin tones...read a few history books
