Brother, thank you for this Biblical wisdom and call to personal prayer. This message spoke to my heart and I thank you for your faithfulness in teaching God's Word. Listening and praying here in Alabama, U.S.A.
Thank you, just came across this today. I really struggle to get up in the morning and so often fall asleep whilst praying if I stay in bed. I am determined with God's help to change this. 🙏
Thank you so much for this Pastor. I always struggle in the mornings, but a lot of that is caused by going to bed too late. Your sermon was so encouraging. Thank you. I want to put this into practice - rising early to read the Bible and pray. Keep seeking God and preaching the Word, you are having a great impact. Writing this from Kansas, USA. 😊
I would be lost if I didn't pray every morning. I don't do anything before I pray, I don't touch my phone, and I don't eat. I go in the bathroom, lock the door, read a PSALM, turn the lights out and pray for an hour. Praying like this changed my life.
I have not neglected the reading of scripture but fpu3nd I was in need of a scheduled appointment prayer time. I have seen more rest in my life since I began that last week. And getting things done is less challenging.
I agree as well! I struggle with prayer but this made it as a new revelation to me of why it is a must that I pray. I thank God for allowing me to see this- he loves me just that much! ❤
Thank you for this upload. It's so nice to hear the word of God and an encouraging sermon from such an array of mostly unknown, yet devoted and loving fellow believers such as this pastor.
I've noticed the bible talks about praying early not reading early . My reasoning is perhaps because it's they didn't have electricity 💡to be able to read back then .
The majority of people alive when the Bible was written could not read or write. They heard the Scriptures read at communal readings. For other activities, they had candles or fire to see in the dark before electricity.
@@subatomic10 Some, yes. I don't know the details but they had a system of being taught by certain people who were appointed teaching roles. Festivals and feasts were a prominent teaching tool. I know that memorization was a focus since there weren't printed books yet. The system of learning the Holy Scriptures and Law would be an interesting topic to dive into. :)
I love you kieth my brother in Christ. Here in america listening. Pray for our nation brother...

The willigness is good, but some people come to God by obligation. Come to the Lord with a longing heart and search him.
Beautiful and life-changing message❤

@@LovelyAndTrue I'm pretty sure the Israelites were literate though
