Fantastic cover! Steely Dan produced so great and complicated song! You and your friends are one of the few exceptions who are able to reproduce their sound perfectly. Congratulations👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great job guys and girl! So glad that young musicians are taking the time to try and emulate those great classic songs, specially SD, them being so meticulous in their recordings.
Excellent! How blessed you guys are to have that many friends who dig the same music, and can pull off playing such good music! Are sure that is not Janis Joplin reincarnate?
Thanks Dennis! Its great to have some folks to mesh with. Myself, the guitarist, and Ashlyn are in a band together. She does a great job with all the soul and funk music we play!
What a great cover. That was also a wonderful guitar solo. I can tell you have great musical taste from the "Songs in the Key of Life" album in the background. Kudos!
Kool with a Kapitol K.....One of SD's best.....and all BLUES ....Great job to you all.....and the Dukes of September video is tremendous.....I've watched it many times. Forrest ? ( I forgot his name ) On drums and he's excellent.....
Tasty. Vocals are killer. Love seeing all the instruments, but during the guitar solo, I'd love to see more of the, you know, guitar. But that's a video editing thing. And picky, I know (no pun intended.) Musically, though, no major complaints at all. Solid A-.
Gotta be my 36th time listening/screening this one by Tate Berkey & Co-Criminals - #GrandLarceny - and fortunately for all of us who've "fallen" onto this, these guys - All Class, - Every Single Time - without fail! P.S. let us have some more 'a this - Merci, - MB
You guys are like what? 12? Seriously. A bigger horn section wouldn't hurt but otherwise, you guys worked it. Especially the vocals. As my 10-year-old would say this is soooo extra.
Charles, we are actually all college students (other than the bassist, Matthew. He is just entering 8th grade!), but appreciate the compliments nonetheless!
Play it young people! Appreciating the greatness of Steely Dan by doing a nice rendition of one the Dan’s most under appreciated songs!
Great to see so many young people cover the Dan. It’s a Steely Dan renaissance.
Fabulous 👏
What an astonishing work from all of you ! 🔥
Thanks Thomas!
them vocal harmonies are where its at! Nice! 'Dan' is a hard nut to crack!
And Bellino and Bird - #CutItOut! Other-Worldly Vocals - Bravo, et Brava! All of you - Merci
Billy and Ash are the best! Its always a joy to play and hang with them. Some of my closest friends! I'll be sure they see your comment Marlo!
