I used to have a massive fear of hairdressers too as years ago I had hair down to my hips and this hair dresser tied my hair in a ponytail and cut it from where the ponytail started so I ended up with a cropped cut just above my shoulders 😅 I cried for hours 😂 later found out that’s what people do to sell your hair for extensions! I’ve also asked for baby pink hair before and I ended up with hot pink and orange hair 😅 Now I do my own hair most of the time lol - if I HAVE to go I just go in with the thought that whatever happens, happens which I shouldn’t really but at least I’m never disappointed that way 😊
OMG! that is awful... that's so bad. I think once you find a hairdresser you can really trust, you'll feel better after a few visits! Explain what happened perhaps and they'll be extra careful to not take too much off!

They told me they didn't speak much English and I barely spoke Thai so it was quite comforting to sit there in silence knowing I could do nothing about what was going to happen. It was just a trim so turned out fine luckily and my hair was much healthier 😅
