Hey, sorry to bother you with another stupid question, what's the secret to doing long range with the DJI O3? I'm having trouble even getting past 5 km, I'm using Iflight Krystal antenna, v2 goggles also have the “ham_cfg_support” file for FCC mode. And I'm using the standard 03 air unit antenna. Do the trure rc patch antennas make that much of a difference over something like the Iflight Krystal? Also, would having a 5.8 GHz antenna on the 03 be better than the original which is dual band?
I have some questions for anyone who’s interested about what remote and goggle combo I need to use for the new Helion I just ordered. Here’s what I have: - DJI FPV Goggles V2 and DJI Remote Control 2 (Came with the DJI FPV Fly More Combo) - DJI Goggles 3 and DJI Remote Control 3 (Avata 2 Fly More Combo) I purchased the Helion 10 with the additional ELRS 2.4 receiver and a Commando 8 Remote Control. I know I can use the DJI Goggles and Remote with the Helion 10 as it has the DJI O3 HD Air unit preinstalled. However, if I use the Commando ELRS remote with the ELRS 2.4 receiver, which goggles are compatible? Can I use the DJI FPV Goggles V2? Or do I need the DJI Goggles 2? Or the DJI Goggles Integra? If I decide I’d rather fly the Helion 10 with the DJI Goggles and Remote, do I need to disconnect the ELRS 2.4 receiver or can I just link the DJI Goggles and Remote to the DJI O3 Air Unit? This is definitely some insanely long range for a quad, I would have only thought to do that with one of my fixed wings. Gorgeous location too, looks like southern Chile maybe ?
Supposedly (as stated by Joshua Bardwell) O3 Air units have hard caps on the range, no matter what antenna, setup, config you do , there is a limit as to how far you can go.
Edit: Ahh, I see that was mentioned further down in the comments beyond where I had read to.

Question. Where on the screen can we see the flown distance?
Here’s what I have:
- DJI FPV Goggles V2 and DJI Remote Control 2 (Came with the DJI FPV Fly More Combo)
- DJI Goggles 3 and DJI Remote Control 3 (Avata 2 Fly More Combo)
I purchased the Helion 10 with the additional ELRS 2.4 receiver and a Commando 8 Remote Control.
Thanks in advance for the help! I’ve been struggling with finding the answers!

thank you. Isn't it just the drone configuration 'dump'? I only need the DJI O3 font, how did you change some fonts that the system doesn't recognize?
I wish I could afford a fpv manual drone and the o3, I wasted all of my money on the DJI avata tho.
Also how did u get this much battery life and distance
What battery/ies did you use?
Upgrade energy 16.000 mah dark litium (1.2kg)
@@christianmong-hansen1835 350$ + VAT + shipping to EU. It's jfucking expensive for me :((
Thats insane. Meanwhile im still worried about losing my drone 2 fields away from me.
@@christophersmith879 do you have a RTH ? If you have a good working one , you should not be that worried.
👍👍👌
I thought the hard limit was 8KM on the o3?
Hi ! No Thats wrong , in fcc mode The range is 23.4 km.
