Watching the re-runs now on Dutch tv. Holy crap! That Mike plonker is an absolute tool when he pretends to work on the cars. That stripe would be the first thing I would remove. It was so off-center that it would bug me every time I’d look at the car. And they kept showing shots of the car from an angle it was impossible to miss.
And I hope he used some paint or any protection after he drilled several holes in the car while fitting the front splitter and rear spoiler. 🙄
He should stick to selling the cars.

  • @tsfullerton

With the help of my local Chevy dealer I ordered a 1973 Rally Sport in January '73. It arrived in May. A long wait for an 18 yr. old. (I had no idea that the factory was on strike for Six Months the previous year and a thousand Camaros had been shit canned/scrapped). Medium Red like this one but with Rally wheels, and Red sport mirrors. I passed on the power brakes thinking I'd save hp. 350 2bbl with the Turbo-Hydromatic. Left it stock except for headers. A Bullet-proof drivetrain for 200,000 miles. Replaced the timing chain and one rocker. Year-round through 15 winters with sand bags and 'snows' at the rear.

Would have yielded a much greater profit with a 496 BBC. Would have cost around 2.5 grand more to do, but he could easily have charged 5-7 grand more. Like with the GTO, he really does not know this market and these cars. That little Blueprint 383 does not do much for the price of the car. What's even more odd is the fact that Blueprint sells a 490 hp version of that engine for 300 bucks more, and yet he chose that little 420 hp mill.
