** The FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES Quiz **
    www.5lovelangua...
** CREATING A GOALS MASTER PLAN PAGE (Vision Board) (ROI / Return on Investment) **
-- Create a list with categories. These categories can be anything that you have a burning desire to implement achieving GOALS in. Examples include, but are not limited to: Health & Wellness, Exercise, Diet, Spiritual, Business, Financial, Income, Investing, Relationships, Home, Beauty. One of the best ways to tune into what needs to go on this list, is think about what you VALUE. What we value in our lives, tends to be the MOST IMPORTANT things in our life. What do you value? WHY do you value it? You need to know WHY?
-- Some Categories may be put together. For example Health & Wellness could cover many topics: Exercise, Diet, Sleep, Stress, Routine preventive appointments, etc. This will vary form person to person, and how 'specific' you need to get with your Goals. If you are a beginner at GOAL SETTING, you will most likely need more categories, than let's say a seasoned GOAL SETTER.
-- Next to each category/sub-category, write your projected goal for 2018. Underneath the category, make a bulleted list of what requirements it will to take, or what you are going to have to GIVE UP to be able to FOLLOW-THROUGH and achieve those results. BE SPECIFIC!!!
    Example:
Let's say you go to bed between 10:30 and 11 p.m., but get up for work at 5:30/6 a.m.. You're goal is to get more sleep. Below would be an example of how this would look on paper or in a document ...
    ** HEALTH/WELLNESS ** (Category)
-- SLEEP (Sub-Category): Get more sleep (projected goal)
1.) No Television, computer or phone use (social media) after 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday
2.) Set phone reminder to go off (nightly) at 8:45 to start preparing for that shut down
3.) NO eating, exercise or any other stimulant-inducing activity after 6:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday
4.) In bed by 9:15. Lights out at 9:30 Sunday through Thursday
5.) Sleep in one of two days, every weekend
You may start with these exercises in order to achieve your goal, during the month of January. At the first of February, you reassess, if all is working and these exercises were realistic for you and your lifestyle, you will continue. If not, you will tweak them slightly for February. You will do this throughout the year. This method WORKS!!! It's all in the FOLLOW-THROUGH of looking at your Vision Board or ROI, every single month. Everything is subject to change (again be realistic), things change, life changes, circumstances change. It's learning to find what works for you. Then making it a HABIT!
In an upcoming video, I will share what is on MY list (and what my WHY is), and I will help you to tweak your list. The goal here is to be realistic with your goal setting. Also to learn to create monthly benchmarks to achieve those goals. Think of this as a vision board. There is POWER in VISIBILITY! You can't BE, what YOU Can't SEE!

Re visiting this 3 part series on Goal setting as I’m now in another season and a refresh of my vision board is needed. I was a stay at home mom (long time ago) but always felt I didn’t contribute or placed value on my role. Wish you had been there to change that lol . I now am in my 50s and apply so many of your wise counsel and am living a terrific life full of value . Thank you Tracy. Be blessed 🎉

Thank you for recognizing and validating the stay at home moms! I can’t tell you how many times I get asked what I do all day as a stay at home Mom of 3 boys or when I will be returning to work outside the home. You hit the nail right on the head when you said we are investing in our children and the relationship we have with them💗

I wish I could comment on all of your videos. But I’m usually exercising when I watch them! I’m on an incline treadmill which is challenging but it is something that I can consistently do to be healthy. It also helped me lose 30 pounds. So I find your videos to be educational and motivational and you just say the truth like it is. Thank you for the time you put in to making these videos!

Tracy, I've watched every single one of your videos as of today. My sister blessed me by sharing you with me, back in February. It was the perfect time since Coronavirus hit and had lots of time at home. Would love if you did a video(s) or even just talked about on Snapchat, how your priority planning & routines looked different when your girls were very little. Always you have it so together Tracy. I have been struggling the past 5 years with how much I can accomplish.
I was diagnosed at age 54 with relapse-remitting MS and one of my worst symptoms is extreme fatigue. This symptom keeps me from being able to keep up with simple dialy activities, I have to take a nap every day so my eyesight won't be affected, and that takes up a good part of my day. Also, my housekeeper passed away a few months ago so trying to keep up the house myself has been a hardship. I am coming from a background of running my own business for 30 years, and being a go-go and go some more kind of person! I am through doing much much better than I was 5 years ago when I was bedridden for about a year. Sorry, I don't mean to complain. I am very grateful for all that God has done for me and for his wonderful grace, and faithfulness and my husband has been amazing!!! Also, I am blessed with a very good famous MS specialist who has helped me make great progress. I know If I continue to do as my Dr says I will stay in remission! MS is an invisible disease and it can be hard because I do not look sick. People cant see what is happening on the inside. I'm having to learn to set more realistic goals for myself now. Out of old habit, I will set unattainable goals like I use to before I got sick and when I fail it is discouraging. So now I will need to just take baby steps. It's a new mindset that I need to put on. So Thank you, Tracy, you have inspired me to start setting goals again! I am taking your advice and I'm just going to start with smaller more realistic goals!!!
I do know you are a believer I would love it if you would keep me in your prayers.

You said you run your home like its a business. How do you know how to run a business? Where do you learn those kinds of skills? I genuinely appreciate all that you are sharing with us because I am a WHOLE LOT older than you are and, I don't have a clue. Writing down all those things you listed --- I would never in a million years have thought to do that. Is there a book, or books, that you learned from? I am greatly impressed with everything you've taught so far. Thank you so much!

    • @TracyHensel
      @TracyHensel  6 років тому +1

Hi Penny! I wish that I knew how to answer this. I cannot truly say that anyone taught me how to run business. I think it's the OCD / Perfectionist personality that God gave me. Which, by the way ... I have had to tame over the years. I am in a much better place today, than 20 years ago. But, I will say ... it is a requirement, for anyone wanting a large family, in this day in age. I think that being a business woman (both then, and now) has saved me from much heartache later on, has generated security, respect and a very functioning household and life. I also believe it has set the tone for a close knit family. I don't know any other way to put it. Thank you for your comment and questions.

Tracy!! I have watched every single one of your videos and am an avid follower of your snap stories daily. The question I have for you with regard to your sleep schedule is how do you plan your day out when you have a late night party or evening out? Does it ever throw you off your sleep schedule? How do you plan your day around late nights?

    • @TracyHensel
      @TracyHensel  6 років тому +1

Hi there and Welcome. Yes, it absolutely throws me off. I actually somewhat dread those nights ... as even when I do get to sleep, I don't sleep well. One of the reasons is that eating late prevents me from slipping well. Drinking alcohol adds to that, as well. I always schedule a sleep in day the next day, though. I take it as a non workout day. That helps.

    • @TracyHensel

The work you put into your videos is very apparent, Tracy. You’re an expert in your field, my dear. On another note, I just watched your snap this morning, where you were wearing your camel colored sweater, and the FIRST thing I thought was how amazingly chic you looked in a warm solid color! That was even before you talked about how it wasn’t your best color! I respectfully disagree! 😘

Well it's just that, a long list of things u want to accomplish in ur time here on earth, i think it's brilliant and i'm planing mine.
Are the videos u're talking about the goal setting videos? Because i did watch those and found them very useful.
Another video request i have is on *decluttering a space and maybe revamping it on a budget.*
      Love x

A further question, will you please kindly elaborate on “love yourself” mentioned in this UA-cam video, such as giving some examples? Thanks.

I love the ambiance you create with lit candles. However, PLEASE be very careful with burning a candle on a shelf that has anything above it! My friend started the upper wooden shelf ON FIRE simply because the candle below created enough heat to to do so. It’s super easy to do and MUST be carefully monitored.

Thank you! I don't actually burn candles under a shelf. The illusion looks that way. I place the candles on the edge in order for the heat to go upward. We have 12 foot ceilings. But, yes, candles should never be left unattended. I am so sorry to hear that your friend had this mishap. We have had a candle knocked over at a party once. Thankfully it was a room that was attended by people and no-one or nothing was damaged.
What was the biggest message you received from this video? What did you think of the video. Did you find that prioritizing your goals has taken a back seat? Do you feel this is an area that you do well. I offer coaching sessions on Goal Setting. If interested, please book that on my website!
Make it a GREAT Friday! Positivity! xx

I love your channel. Tried several times to follow you on Snapchat but no success. Is there a trick? Also what do you use for accountability calendars for exercise you showed. What can I use?

Hi Debbie! Thank you! I don't know any real trick to Snapchat. I would recommend on UA-cam, you search, 'Snapchat Tutorial'. As for the accountability, the link is provided in the dropdown box for that planner. Hope to see you on Snapchat. I show my accountability chart frequently.

Thank you for this video Tracey, was looking forward to it and once again was full of information. You are very generous sharing your personal goals, great inspiration. I've tried the link to your planner but it's not working, would you be able to say what it's called so I can search for it. Thanks, Susan

Thank you Susan! I appreciate the nice message. I will check the link, as it is important that my links are working. I appreciate you telling me. The planner is by InkWell Press. There are different ones. I will update the link with the model that I have.

Hello Tracy, I was wondering what time do you wake up? I see you go to bed very early (well, at least for me) and if my math is right you'd wake up between 3.30 -4.30 considering you sleep 7 hours. Do you really wake up that early? If so, what do you do at the time? It's still nighttime in my head hehehe

Ilaria Fornaro she wakes at 4am and works out for an hour normally. If your not following her on Snap chat you are really missing out on some good stuff. Blessings 😄

I get up at 4 a.m. about 5-6 days per week. I do my workout upon awakening, except for once in awhile. I start work generally by 6:30 a.m. Once in awhile I start later, generally if it is a get ready day. Basically my day start earlier than most and ends earlier than most. My husband and I are both first shifters. he gets up by 5. We have been on this schedule for 25 years. But, I completely agree about it still being nighttime in your head. I used to be up when my second-third shift daughter got home from work. I would say, "Good Morning!" and she would say, "Mom, it's night!" lol

For 20 years I taught a 5am workout class. It was really the only way I could guarantee I would get a workout in, because nothing would get in the way! I'm impressed that you get up and do it at home, though. I needed the motivation of the other ladies needing me there, LOL!
