Monday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Summer-like day today in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Monday, May 13, 2024.
After a comfortably cool weekend, we're really going to ramp up the temps to summer-like levels today with a nice south breeze. Highs this afternoon should respond nicely as they push 80 degrees! Sunshine will give way to increasing high clouds later today.
We'll bring our next storm system in here on Tuesday with scattered rain. Temps will be cooler with highs in the upper 60s to near 70. This system will slowly swirl through northern Ohio on Wednesday with lingering, slow-moving downpours possible as temps remain in the upper 60s to near 70.
Another system swings through here Friday, bringing showers and storms through the region before we dry out this upcoming weekend. Temps looks to turn quite mild this weekend as well for all of the Cleveland Marathon events with highs pushing 80 once again on Sunday.

TODAY: Early showers east, otherwise sunshine with high clouds. Breezy and warm. Near 80.
TUESDAY: Scattered showers with highs near 70.
WEDNESDAY: Lingering areas of rain. Upper 60s.
