She teaches much like my Spanish teacher in high school decades ago. I was too young to appreciate back then how good she was, but when I got to college, I found I was better than all the other gringos. I love the focus on each syllable, and getting it right. This is a rare teaching style, but it's very effective for me. I will look for other videos from her, and re-watch these several times. One other advantage, is that with youtube, you can speed up the player in 5% increments, so as you get more comfortable, you can speed up the player, so it starts sounding more and more like real conversation.

Yup. They're 95% similar due to their history (lots of research needed to catch up on that) but Portuguese understand Spanish better than Spanish understand Portuguese
The video is clear. It would be nice if some of the pronunciations of the letters were explained. e.g. Do you not pronounce the letter l in facil? It sounds like an o at the end: facio?
